there's a lot of nods to B-M's discography in the "Manners" MV. My fave is Saiki & Miku having evening tea in the garden gazebo which is a reimagining of their "Just Bring It" album cover art :)

@@waynebenedict5785 Really?😮 Wayne it's nowhere near their best MV but it's certainly one of their cleverest, there are still quite a few refernces i haven't either got or haven't figured out yet but i'm narrowing them down gradually :)

The tea party motif is in the "Bestie" MV set dressing too, but it's a lot easier to see in the fan club behind-the-scenes video they posted.

you nailed it, they were talking about themselves and the struggles to grow and take over the world(world domination). the unseen world is reference to the parts of the world they have never seen but are determined to see it and share their music everywhere. Our rock never dies ever. Forever! - Miku Kobato Band Maid founder

You may notice that Akane's drum kit was set up at the bottom of the staircase in a few isolated shots. This is a bit of a tribute to John Bonham where they set up the kit at the bottom of the stairwell in Headley Grange when Led Zeppelin recorded that iconic drum sound in 'When The Levi Breaks. Bonham is one of Akane's inspirations. I sincerely urge you to have look at the live version of this song on the double live 'Manners/Black Hole' video. Manners is brilliant, and Black Hole will twist your musical brain into knots They do all wear maid outfits, but Misa's is an 'Assassin Maid' outfit, and Saiki's is a European 'Governess Maid' outfit. Misa is also known as 'The Barefoot Assassin' , because of the Assassin Maid outfit, and the fact that she plays live shows in bare feet. Collectively, the Maids refer to their costumes as 'Battle Armour'. Cool eh.

I am with you on loving Miku's 'oh oh oh oh oh oh' in the chorus. It is so fun to watch her do that in that I am sure there is a slight backing track to make the voice a bit deeper but to see this tiny petite woman do that in a maid outfit is so much fun to see. This song is even better in the live video that they did during covid with the other song they did in the same video black hole. look for Manners / black hole and I am sure you will find it. Great job in finding the meaning of the song as it is about them and all the difficulties they had to overcome in the first 2-3 years of the band. Nice reaction.

From Japan This song is from their album ``Unseen World'' and is considered as a song that connects the past and the future. Future songs are faster and more technically progressive. However, their latest song "Bestie" is an alternative rock song that has never been released before. They change beyond expectations. I'm looking forward to their next album at the end of August. Try their wonderful other side, the symphonic hard rock instrumental song "from now on".
