BAND-MAID IS PROOF THAT...........MIRACLES DO EXIST! Never heard a band that I like better than BAND-MAID! And I’m 67 years old! I simply do not have the words to describe how much I like this band! 5 petite Japanese girls have shown the word HOW TO ROCK..........PERIOD!!!!!

‘You’ is from ‘Just Bring It’ (2 albums ago). Miku wrote the lyrics. The new album, ‘Conquerer’ is already out digitally.

One of my favorite song from their first FULL album "Just Bring It". I think this song has Kanami's best solo, so far.

They've never played in the US Southeast, as of yet. Hopefully, now that they're with Livenation and rep'd by UTA, they might go to more cities when they come to the USA. I live in Atlanta, and it would be nice to be able to see them without having to spend hundreds of dollars on flights and hotels.

When Band Maid returns to USA, definitely go. I plan on seeing them a second time also. They sound just as great live as in video. But on thing video never catches, is the entire band jokes with the audience and creates a fun time. Something I have not seen a band do, since Kiss, Foo Fighters, or Metallica. That rarity should make Band Maid more popular than they currently are. I even heard someone compare Band Maid once to the Beatles. I cannot say I agree, since I really never liked the Beatles, except at the end of their career.

Whether you like the Beatles means very little because they are universally proclaimed as the best there ever was. And for Kobato and company to aspire to this is a great thing.

Their latest album released the digital tracks unexpectedly on Dec.4th on iTunes. Going to a BM concert if you have the opportunity is really a no-brainer. Live is where they shine! That being said, I noticed you did a couple of French artists, so may I suggest Shaka Ponk? Their song "wrong side" (which btw features an amazing video), "picky" (more on the funny side) or their live "smells like teen spirit" cover. Bonus point : they sing in English;)

Other than fan-cam ones, virtually all of the live clips out there are from two concerts in Tokyo. One at Zepp, the other at Studio Coast. The DVDs for both were only available in special editions of the World Domination album (Studio Coast) and with the CD single "Start Over". That's created the odd situation where the special edition CD of arguably their least popular song* is incredibly rare and expensive. You would do very well to find a copy online going for less than $100. * it's not a "bad" song. It's well crafted, and the penultimate line certainly catches people out. It's just a very soft and more mainstream sounding song. The "B-side", Screaming, is one of their more popular songs, and neither track is an any album.

I think I have figured out their methodology in the creations of the songs. Kanami lays down the basic music, then sending it to Akene and MISA for bass and drums. Miku is next laying down first draft of the lyrics. Which is then reviewed by all. Next the rehearsal studio were the work begins with all making input. And this was the last piece I was looking for, Saiki has final say for when the song is done. I believe all, but especially Miku and Kanami would keep fiddling with song forever, so Saiki got/took the job of "We're done" When are you guys going to react to the Blackpink Zach Sang Show interview??
