Band-Maid is by far my favorite Band regardless gender. There is no other band out there which combines composition skills, instrumental proficiency, lyricism, melodic choruses, diversity, great unique and creative guitar, bass and drum playing, wonderful harmonizing voices, great lyrics and last but not least absolutely adorable egoless personalities … all in one package. I could survive with Band-Maid alone.

I'm glad someone said beach. To be fair they don't show the ocean much. So I can understand why he might have thought desert at first from all the sand. However as someone said, it was no day at the beach for BAND-MAID. It was cold. And, like the video for 'Shambles', the only time they were warm was between takes with their coats on, or while the flames were going.

Band-Maid is my favorite that tops ALL bands in this current age and is among my lifetime favorites.

A backstory about this video. The video was shot on a windswept beach in Japan in the middle of winter. Japan has the same latitude as New England and the UK. It was brutally cold during the shooting. There was a mini-documentary of the shooting of the video. There are photos of the Maids huddling in full length insulated coats between takes. At the end of the video, with fires burning at night in the background, the Maids got close to them to stay warm. Akane and Saiki's costs were burned by the flames when they got too close to them. Looking at those thin maid costumes during the filming, proves how much of rock troopers these five petite young Japanese females truly are. Their motto is "do whatever it takes to get our music out to the world. RESPECT!!!!!

Band Maid isn’t my favorite female rock band. They are my favorite rock band PERIOD.

The song that used to be the band's concert-ender a few years back. They would pull out all the stops, audially stomp the audience flat, and walk off with a "Arigatou! Bando-Meido deshita!" Band-Maid doesn't do encores. Never have. The lyrics - wasn't written by them, but does fit the band - more or less a description of the mornings you wake up with all the usual forgiving filters removed, and view yourself as you really are, in all its stark insufficiency.

Actually Band-Maid have done (extremely rare case) an encore at one(?) of their first European tour...I can't remember where but I did see a video with an upset Saiki insisting for only 1 more song while the crowd wanted more of course

I’m notorious for recommending this early Maid banger. It’s also the first in the “Fire Trilogy” along with “Warning” and “Shambles” The opening and closing guitar effect Kanami uses immediately brings me back to 2001 and Hoobastank’s debut single “Crawling in the Dark.” These are the only two songs I’m aware of that have this specific effect. Someone needs to help me figure out what it is! 😣

The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time! Thx, Lee Jaay & Stan!

a lot of reactors think this was shot in a desert when it's actually a beach. they would have done well to give a water's edge shot once or twice but you have to look closely to see it in only a couple of quick glimpses. also have heard a reactor say the song was too long ! huh ? time to find another band to listen too dude - i wish it was longer !
