I was just in front of the mosh pit. Notice that the Bass drum was losing the A, I, and D of the BAND-MAID logo. Akane was renting a kit for each venue along the tour, traveling with her cymbals, and relying on her drum tech and herself to get each TAMA kit tuned to her liking. (You try lugging a full drum set around the USA for a whole month!) This meant applying an adhesive backed BAND-MAID logo to the face of the drum skin at each show. Akane hits HARD and the letters just kept falling off!

They sound so amazing live ! Whoever runs their sound does an incredible job of blending them all perfectly. I finally got to see them performing live in Nashville a few weeks ago. I never imagined that they would come to my hometown. I've always assumed I'd have to at least travel to Atlanta or Chicago. I wish I had gone to the Atlanta show too because they were so great and fun to watch. I hope they come around again on their next tour. I definitely recommend seeing them live as many times as you can.
