@johncoyle85513 жыл бұрын
@@lunchbox1553 At the college level, he doesn't make that decision. The production director, or whatever the title is, tells the director when to start and cut off through the headset he's wearing. The production director has a very similar job to a stage manager calling a play/musical in a college game of this scale. When and how much the band gets to play is predetermined and they tell the director to go. Specifics may vary depending on where you are, but the general way it all works stays the same.

Our band pranks were taking the practice field tower down and putting into the band directors front yard all setup. Then to top it all off we would hike the back end of his car onto the sidewalk curb were he parked at the entrance to the school. That was a 8 inch rise and for a small car that already sat low to the ground it did cause a bit of damage to the rocker panels. We did stop doing the car prank after we learned about the damage and a couple of the auto body students made the repairs.
