Realize this complete work is all Dimash's art. He composed the music, wrote the poetic lyrics, produced the vocals and produced the instrumtation. We have fancam of Dimash working with musicians to get just the right notes he wants by using his voice to produce the correct notes, beats for drums, etc. Amazing to watch his creative process.

I'm an 81 year old retired musician, singer, guitarist, performer, and teacher & vocal coach. I discovered Dimash several years ago and his prodigious artistry resurrected my old musical soul. I enjoyed your reaction/analysis to this video performance. You pointed out some of the musical nuances that I had not heard before, even after listening to it many times. The teacher in you comes through, and it is edifying and entertaining at the same time. Blessings and best wishes for your excellent work.

Remember Dimash has been taking some sort of music classes/training for 24-25 years and that is a lifetime for some. And he doesn't neglect his everyday training whether its vocal, physical exercise/cardio, playing instruments. I am surprised he has hobbies. I love this song especially because this song is solely Dimash's. He wrote both music and lyrics (his first lyrical composition, he's only ever written the music before). I wonder if I will ever hear this live, it seems very personal and only released a few weeks before his grandfather passed away.

I love this song- it touches my core. It is breathtakingly beautiful. I have to listen to it every day; I am under Dimash’s spell. Dimash’s grandfather died soon after this was released; Dimash is FaceTiming with his grandfather in this video! I was told the chess board ‘hands’ are Dimash’s and his grandfather’s. Thank you for continuing to react to Dimash: our Prince of World Peace;) I compare Dimash to music as Shakespeare is to literature. Dimash is a once in a lifetime phenomenon.

Yes, please watch this again on your own to read the lyrics. Dimash doesn’t take anything for granted. He showed clips of when he was on World’s Best, where he withdrew from the comp and was heavily criticised, so he hid nothing here, the highs and the lows. He asks that he won’t be tested so that he will have to apologise.

@@bobcieslinski The memories include many Dimash stories, the reason for my tears. A friend agreed to coach someone for a test but the only time they could meet was 5 am. She said so cold and blistery she was wearing 2 wool caps, Duofolds (longjohns) 3 sweaters an Arctic parka et al, and shortcutted through the pool, dark, cold, damp, there was Dimash at 4:45 am putting on his cap and slipping into the pool for laps, I guess, she said, and I could see my breath ! Wearing all those clothes, I was.chilled ! Discipline . Say anything ? No, he was in the Dimash zone. That and more was going through my mind watching it.

@@bobcieslinski Hi, no problem. Thank you very much for your willingness to discover new music. I truly hope you enjoy them as much as I do. They are a Korean cross-over group/quartet; however, they have performed songs from various genres, and done a superb job of it, in my humble opinion. The members are Ko Woorim, Kang Hyung Ho (Pitta), Cho Mingyu, and Bae Doohoon. I have given you the names in the order that they normally stand in on stage. (From left to right, surnames first) Below are the links to their songs. They have an official KZbin page, however, most of their songs are only available on KBS channels as they were performed during programs like Immortal Songs or Open Concert. I have seen reactors sometimes placing a watermark over the video or fading it as KBS often requires them to do so. I have also seen reactors react to the video without altering it. I will try and put some info on the links. These songs are placed into “categories” and are not in the order of performance. You can look and see which of these you want to react to. I enjoyed the guitar in this one. :) I just ran across a video that from the wavelengths seems to indicate some of his studio work is autotuned, which was somewhat frowned on by the video creator since you really may only get his true voice in live situations. Unfortunately this may be true since production works are so easily manipulated today. I have heard a few people talk about "live" video performances and that you get the raw sound of a performer or band, but in reality those live performances can also be subject to post production adjustments. Not to take away from Dimash, it's just that added touch that a studio might desire. Probably done a lot more these days than we imagine, either autotuned or pitch adjusted. Also doesn't really take away from the music unless the autotuning infringes enough to be noticed. Makes me wonder about a few of the high notes hit by Asami in the studio as she sometimes struggles a bit with them in concert.

Yeah I loved the guitar in this one too. Just a very nice chill song showing some of his accomplishments. The auto tune thing is huge today for sure. Back in our day you either sounded great or you weren’t going to make it because of your lack of skill. Some people are just prepackaged and they make them sound good. I do think the mark of a great band or singer is doing it love and sounding like the recording. It’s a dead giveaway when they can’t do it. I hope you have an awesome weekend.

@@bobcieslinski I have to say, first time hearing Dimash, that he does have a lovely smooth voice and incredible range. I can see where’s he quite popular.

@@guygourley2411 his range is ridiculous. His parents were singers too and he is classical trained. Just a great set of genes plus an incredibly hard worker.

We have also seen and heard Dimash singing in dining rooms and stairwells. At talk shows. In concert. Not that he never uses other means, but why should he? He has trained formally since five years old.

Димаш в этом году давал сольные концерты в Ереване и Анталии, на которых исполнил народные песни . В Ереване на армянском, а в Анталии на турецком языках. На ютубе есть только фанкамы. Сделайте пожалуйста реакцию .kzbin.info/www/bejne/eovNlXt9q89kgK8. Это фанкам армянской песни

This song was released on Dimash's birthday, so not the newest song I think, or if it still is, it's been around d since may this year 2023. It's not a guitar its the national I dtrumrnt of Kazakhstan, Dimash has said often, that it is in every home of kazak families.

The video shows quite well what Dimash has achieved already in his young years. Of course he suffered from setbacks: Corona interrupted his career, he lost a friend due to Covid, Putin´s war took away the Russian market from him, etc. Yet balancing his successes with the setbacks, I find this song way too melancholic, if not depressive. It is not so much a song of joy but more a song of fear, as though he carried some heavy weight on his shoulders. So, although I rationally appreciate his work on this song, I just cannot really connect to it emotionally. Too much fear due to oriental fatalism in this piece.

The beauty of music is it evokes different feelings for everyone. Each person feels something different and that is good. If everyone felt the same thing the music would lose something. So Dimash definitely got through to you since you felt something. Take care!

@@bobcieslinski Well, yes, in a sense. But I would like Dimash to get though to me in the sense that I would be motivated to listen to this song as frequently as I do with a number of his other songs. I don't like to not be fond of a Dimash song. 😉
