@@kate-wu7tg prey for the best it usually works out. They usually have a tunning machine and you make a sound. if your too sharp pull your barell out and if your flat push the barell in. That's what I remember not to sure .

I used to be a trumpet player in the 4th grade I didn't have an ego no one else in my trumpet class had a ego like what does trumpet player with an ego look like our class did have this one kid who didn't show up for any of the night time concerts or the ones at other schools like he only showed up once and that was the one day time consert at our school.

I'd say all the instruments are important in order to make good music. Or, at the very least, the instruments you want to include into your music. Each of them are important. But percussion sets the beat, you're right about that. The pitch instruments signal certain parts and so on

I’m a clarinet and In my section we have this saying “if you don’t practice we will take your knee caps.” We also have a thing about feet and routinely we will touch each other’s feet. We are also probably the only section with two group chats and we use them on the daily.

Fun fact: Back in 8th grade, I learned Megalovania on Sax. I played it a lot in Marching Band, so other people learned it either from listening to me or by looking it up. Eventually, one of the other altos played it during standby, and our director threatened to take the mouthpiece.

All the trumpet players (including me), except the only other girl (too focused on seeming "normal" and being in charge despite not having any leadership skills), we are all extremely nice and usually doesn't let anything like ego or trying to be the best player stop us from being extremely kind to everyone and not try and take the spotlight 24/7. That is the 2/3 Alto Sax's and one of the Clarinets.
