At my school band is treated as a main course. They test us and see which instruments we would be good at but the thing is I play guitar in my free time. To play any strings instruments you have to be in Highschool or talk about it for a while with our band teacher. I’m not good enough at guitar in my opinion to do band so I just told them I had never played an instrument before. Now I’m on percussion with xylophone and marimba and we don’t play snare until later on
