I attended The Art exhibit (it was sh*t, and took about 3 minutes to see it all) - but they had a fun 1954 diorama with replica of the suit and a recreation of the full size maquette there as well. I honestly only went to get this figure thinking it was physically there. I was pretty angry that the figure was not actually available, and instead just the factory sample encased in glass, with a QR code you had to scan to pre-order one, and customers were limited to 3 per order. I wish I would have ordered 3 (could have ordered a dozen because I was with my wife, son and taking my parents around Tokyo while they visited me and my family) - did not expect it to get so insanely overpriced. I also own one that ToyGraph put out - it's my favorite of all the variations that have been released. At this point the M1-GO version (Marusan collaborated with them sometimes, but didn't release it) is the version that is a bit easier to find... and not much more expensive than this Bandai version - even though it's even more limited and triple the size. Maybe I should do a comparison video? Cool to see ya cover some sofubi! Cheers from Tokyo :)

I really wish for how exclusive this figure is it should have a more premium or complete feeling to it. Painted claws and dorsal plates along the tail would go a long way. Hoping for an eventual retail release

Nice figure, but the way how the after market affected the price it is big no. It's a shame it was produced as a limited edition for a very specific event only. At least I have It's equivalent from X-plus, but that has a variant on the scale pattern, sporting the keldeo scar hide we know that Godzilla has in most of the movies since the very first one

Well good news is this got re-released along with the Coin Parking Delivery 1991 Godzilla for the art expo in December so now can get this for around 80-100 now instead of 200 like before.
