A bit disappointed that the BE isn't completely waterproof as my primary form of exercise is swimming, but it's a step in the right direction I suppose. As is lifting the restrictions on DiM cards. The Ryudamon card looks fantastic! I don't normally preorder things, but man am I tempted.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed, would love to be able to swim with it BUT given the fact you can put in BEX and DiM Cards it makes sense, quite difficult to make those ports waterproof. Hopefully in future a full waterproof model will come along! Lifting restriction is a HUGE W, so surprised by that!

@@Karn_EX Absolutely fair point. It would probably require a huge overhaul for the cards. Maybe something that can be scanned? And then if you have characters stored on the app, you can transfer them in that way too? Might be a bit complicated, but I guess we'll see how it goes.

It feels like to me that they are the very least addressing a lot of the criticism of the original Vital Bracelet. I very much appreciate the fact that it is water resistance now since I live somewhere it rains more frequently than not. I also just like like the new look of it overall. Its very retro and I dig it.

Its basically a vpet with some fitbit functions. You'll honestly learn more diving into it vs watching a tutorial, ive been watching videos about the vb since they first released, finally got one and still didnt understand it until a week in after using it.

This solves my worries I was always stressed about my watch getting wet or breaking and then being locked from my dims so I sorta stopped but now it's more resistant and if it does break it'd suck but I'd just replace the watch. So excited to start collecting again

The most interesting thing for me personally in this is the new Digimon, Espimon, HoverEspimon, Gyukimon and Oboromon. It's definitely a bit curious that Espimons line seemingly "ends" at HoverEspimon, none of the Perfect-levels really feel like they naturally follow that... which makes me hopeful that Espimon is a similar case as the Ghost Game-partners and that he's either a 4th partner or somehow else that its evolutions are relevant, so we'll get them on a later DiM-Card, as seems likely to be the case for the Megas of the partners. Strangely enough, Oboromon feels like it _could_ fit as an evolution from HoverEspimon, but it's on a completely different DiM, which even if it is hinting towards a Jogress-thing feels a bit weird, so it feels like it might more so be meant as a more throughout Japanese option for Mushyamon to Zanbamon. Meanwhile Gyukimon I'm pretty sure is probably going to be a new regular evolution for Dokugumon, as a more masculine/neutral alternative to Arukenimon, funnily enough I could also see it working as a natural evolution for Minotaurmon, seeing how its upper body seems very cow-like and with an arm-cannon, cow-like making sense for Ushi-Gozen, since "ushi" is japanese for "cow" depending on how it's written. Both of these new Digimon being seemingly inspired by powerful Japanese Yokai though also seems quite interesting.

Just pre-ordered the Espimon DIM from Zenin, so this was well timed lol. I'm very on the fence about the BE (I'm a weirdo that likes the original VBs quirks), especially if the US DIMs are locked to buying the Vital Hero so I'll end up with a spare VB anyway (I collect the DIMs, and it's usually cheaper just to buy the whole watch than just the DIM second hand but I'm never happy about it). Nothing here is convincing me to replace so far, but I'll stay cautiously optimistic that the BE is gonna be a bomb!

Yooooo the fact that we're getting Ryudamon in a Digimon anime brings me so much joy, especially since the DIM card basically guarantees he's a partner Digimon too!!! Also I noticed in that shot that showed off the Micro SD update that it showed a red "Digivice VV". Vee-Vee? Double V? V2? However it ends up pronounced its likely to be a Gen 3 like the BE instead of a Gen 2 like the Digivice V.

I think oboromon is the true fusion between hoverespimon and ginryumon, if the two do fuse, you can see traits of both in them well, and it looks more like a complete good fusion, but as for gyukimon, It seems like an obvious villian, and could be the result of a dokougomon fusing with ginryumon by accident

To be completely honest, I'm on the fence. The explanations and stuff on the exercising all sounds like what we already have (Squatting and crunches being on Hard missions), and the app battling sounds like it'll be a change for just the App and not really have anything to do with what watch you have. The water resistance is nice, and so are the new characters, but I just don't know if this is worth getting a whole new watch and the new character cards unless you are a big fan of them. I don't know though, I'm excited to see what other news we get regarding it!

Hey Karn, as someone who has been subscribed for you for a little bit and grew up up watching the first 4 seasons of digimon and nothing much after. Is there anyway in future videos when you describe the evos possible you can flash a detailed picture on screen for like 1 second? Nothing major, just long enough so people like me can pause and see these amazing digimon that we've never experienced before. Love your content and would also love a what if myotismon became good and digivolved into a non dark/evil mon, its a weird concept but I know if anyone can do that it's you! I really want a more longer hours of battery and waterproof for swimming, lastly I hope they remove the restriction in the battle that is so auto by luck and more actively require the tamers us to maybe do some kind of workout + our work overall as the digimon battle strength. I like the more slim version and I hope it has more design to come that uses the digivice design to make it more cooler. I also hope they improve it to a more smart watch approach since the price is actually already close to fitbit smart watch price that are lower range.

I'm curious about the VB BE, I have the E-rod builds extenders from Etsy, because the original was too tight for me. Will the extenders work with the new one, or will that ruin the water resistant? Gonna wait for reviews, especially since my VB broke and I bought the Digivice -V. So I'm not in the market right now, I want it, especially with the water resistant, but if the extender ruins it, no thanks.
