Stop apologizing. You're doing your job. Every time Bandai doesn't paint a tail, or only half a figure (Ultra 500s), or skips entire rows of dorsal plates, they should be called out. Every time.

Godzilla Rex's first ever vinyl figure and it's a Bruhdai moment. At least the sculpting is great as usual. And that Gigan Rex is really cool; awesome fresh design for Gigan. Would love to see a standard Gigan at one point.

It’s a cool new design for Godzilla, it’s nice seeing Toho allow nice little nods to past iterations. I just wish he had more going on paint wise lol I’m sure the eventual Xplus release will handle that just fine!

yeah gigan rex’s color palette is amazing he stands out on my shelf so well! the gold is the cherry on top for me 😍 and while his paint is sorely lacking, goji’s sort of unique tail pose is nice

Very strange yet awesome redesign for Gigan, absolutely! And it’s heavily theorized that Godzilla Rex is Junior, I don’t think it’s been confirmed or anything of the sort but it certainly fits!

@@ChrisZAnimator I got them from the Godzilla, I used a proxy site to get them in. But the Godzilla store does ship to the US now, they have a Buyyee section on the website that allows you to buy whatever they have listed under it, it’s pretty cool!

It's so odd seeing Gigan red, use to seeing space chicken green. Godzilla got the shin Godzilla skin treatment. I kinda wish they would use solid silver vinyl for the spines so we don't get under painted spines is that so much to ask?

I've rewatched the short film idk how many times now, but now that I realize it, where bandai didn't paint (except the mouth) we don't see much of in the film. When we do, I don't see much color there. Also the silver should be more like a bone color, and the mouth should be painted.

Yeah we really don't see much in terms of the body, it's just the fact that such little care was put into the figure overall. some dry brushing or at least finishing the tail would've gone a long way, same for the mouth. Out of the two, Godzilla just feels so very last minute.

Definitely gonna get these (hopefully in the near future!) I like the way gigan rex looks ( I might have been seeing things but wasn't he a darker red in the short?) And the Godzilla could've been better but I guess I might get it so I can have the pair together and I like both of their designs, btw if bandai makes the regular gigan design in the short it would be neat to see it at a cheaper price and still look awesome ( the reason I said cheaper price was because...how many exactly did we see in the short?)

I think Gigan Rex was indeed darker, and a bit shinier lol It is nice to have them as a pair, i wont lie. But getting them separately is just the safer bet. I'm hoping Gigan 'Miles' gets a release too, wide or otherwise. I NEED SLICK SEAFOAM GIGAN. I know what you're getting at, we saw quite a few. Gigan Miles Army Building.

I really do love the new goji design. It definitely needs more paint on the tail. But that’s my only issue. Gigan Rex is just a awesome figure. I think everything is accurate. The review was very good. I not getting these figures but I really do like them.

Godzilla design appears to include "Shin Godzilla" and "Godzilla 1991". Rumor has it that Godzilla's CG design is from the "SHINKALION". Gigan Lex design atrocious and cool. However, it's mystery that the Gigan Milles are not released.

They do look eerily similar, “SnowGoji” and this guy, for sure! I can see the Shin & 91Goji nods as well. Gigan Rex is just, COOL. Too cool even lol I’m hoping Gigan Miles gets a release at some point next year! I need that guy!!

When I saw the film I didn't like how the beak looked It was all short like Methalokaiju's Gigan Even weirder the gigans had a leader with different abilities It's cool but that was unexpected I thought it was gonna be a 1 on 1 match, but instead Godzilla goes fighting an army

Kinda wierd Godzilla having five fingers yet four toes "no dewclaw". I also stand by my comment on your Monster Series Gamera upload, Bandai dont care bout no Godzilla figure thats gonna sell reguardless - hence priority going to figures not named Godzilla (imo). Great review Rob.

I dont understand why companies cant put paint on the tails of anything, its the same thing with the Mattel Jurassic dinos. It frustrates me more that little tiny figures (captivz eggs/gashapon) have better paint.

Darn, it's a shame the Godzilla didnt get as much love as Gigan Rex. I do like the design but the legs and feet are a bit silly looking compared to the rest. Gigan Rex looks so good though, those metallics are gorgeous 😳

You can buy it from the Godzilla store, they ship outside of Japan now. Amazon hasn’t been keeping up to date with the MMS stuff since early last year, and these are Godzilla store exclusives. They wouldn’t get them in stock even if they were keeping up.
