Bandai Rainbow Mothra 1997 Toy Review

Hey Guys! Today we look at Bandai's Rainbow Mothra from Rebirth of Mothra 2 (1997)! So happy to finally have this figure after years of searching for it!

Bandai just doesn't make'em like they used too. Such a stunning figure! I think I'm actually going to get the Armour Mothra today, I have all the Ghidorah's from ROM but I need more 'Mothra'

@@WillVS93unfortunately I didn't end up buying armour mothra because I forgot about a few figures comi g out this month that I ordered and have to pay for 😅 As for the Ghidorah's, I'm lucky enough to have at least one of every Ghidorah incarnation represented in my collection, if you can deffinently hunt down grand king Ghidorah, that figure is stunning!

Don't quote me on this, but I remember reading on Wikizilla that, while filming the third Rebirth movie, during the scene where the primitive Mothra Larvae cover Leo in silk, they malfunctioned and set the original Rainbow Mothra puppet on fire, so they had to make a new one. Again, I don't know if that's actually why Rainbow Mothra looked different in the third movie, that's just what I've read.

I honestly was never really interested in this figure not just this version but you know the sculpt period but seeing it here it just may be a must have for me now!
