its in the same world remember when they said that the first weapons to combat the demons was a jacket weapon that could transform guess what ure jacket can become a weapon (the revenant dont have memories of the past but in the game near the end u can see a aragami running in background in cutscene lol ) yes its tied in GE they talked about the first weapons that were not transformable and the usage of blood so yeah there were hints in the GE games and anime ... revanants are weaker then the GE btw but GE go berzerk faster

Now that the game's been out for a few years, here are some differences between this trailer and the actual game that we got. Keep in mind the trailer was probably animated far in advance of the final game. And I'm not shitting on the trailer, it is really good, but I want to point out these differences anyway. 1. We don't see this kid in the game at all. I'm not sure if he's just meant to be a 'generic kid' or if he was originally planned as a character, but the only child we see is Nicola. (well, and Murasame) Considering how deadly the world of Vein is, I'm surprised they left that kid out there with just a blood bead, he'd probably die anyway. 2. Mia seems to be the main character here, she's in the center as they do their 'slow walk', and she's prominently featured in the game's artwork and splash screen. But in the game, Louis is the main driving force behind the plot, Mia joins the group somewhere around the start of the second act. 3. At 0:51 Mia's gun fires what seems to be regular bullets, but in the final game her weapon Brodiaea fires ichor rounds. Regular ballistic guns do exist in Code Vein (Yakumo is sitting next to an assault rifle at 2:38, and he has a Desert Eagle in the final game), but my guess is that they intended for the bayonets to use ballistic rounds but it got changed. 4. At 1:59 Jack is stabbing OC with his Executioner sword, OC has a Night Claw, and Jack has his post Operation Queenslayer outfit and attire. His eye is scarred over too, even though that presumably didn't happen until he became Successor of the Eye. In the game, the event takes place in the past, so the characters are wearing different outfits, and Jack shoots OC through the heart with a Blood Shot instead of stabbing him. 5. At 2:42 Mia is attacking Yakumo in the ruined city, the 2nd stage of the game. In game this takes place a little later, in the Howling Pit (which is either the 3rd or 4th stage depending on which path you take). Again, I'm thinking Mia was supposed to be the main character, she was probably going to be introduced earlier. 6. 2:56, I'm not sure if this is suggesting you're supposed to meet Io at the first bloodspring, but in reality you meet her at the very start of the game. 7. At 3:04, Mia's drain mask is the Ogre-type (claw type), which is incorrect. Yakumo also wears the Ogre-type mask while using his hounds. The only one animated correctly is Louis, who is using the correct mask for the correct veil. 8. At 3:23, during the Cathedral encounter, Jack is wearing his mask for the entire fight. Also the OC isn't alone during this fight, he attacks in after Mia, Louis, and Yakumo (in that order). The dramatic mask-falling-off attack also occurs only in the past, during the fight with the Queen. 9. 3:41, an Attendant of the Relics, possibly Io, fading away next to a bloodspring. This might have been hinting at the game's bad ending, where she does die next to a bloodspring, albeit next to OC's sword and in the ruined city instead of surrounded by more springs.

I'm not the only one who think about God Eater seeing this, I guess... So it could be interesting... If I finish God Eater Resurection one day... and so God Eater 2 that I bought day one (and never play because it gave Resurection with it)... Oh, God Eater 3 is already out...
