My brother just died recently on the 3rd day of October. It's just a huge heartbreak losing someone. Especially, when this person is the reason why you pursue everything because you thought that you'll grow together. He's only 14yrs old. He have so many plans and hopes for us. That we will graduate in the meer future, yet we didn't know that God has a another plan for him. I remember hearing this song from him aloud everyday just for entertainment. This song really hit me close to home. It still feels like yesterday but it's been 4 years since we lost our battle against my wife's breast cancer. During her final moments, we had time to look at each other and really say what was important, which means so much, I thought that I was already prepared for the worst and made peace with it for the sake of our kids, but I was so wrong. When you look back on your life, you think of all the things you should have said and done and things you took for granted. Everyday there's a flash back from when we exchanged vows up to the day I lost her. This song was a perfect reflection of how I feel. They say time heals and I know we have to keep on, but it will never be the same again. A huge part of me died with her. I miss her so much, I know she's watching over us, but it hurts so much that I can't see her, touch or hold her. Never take your loved ones for granted. And if you’re ever lucky enough to find that one person in life who makes you love more than any other person could, treat every second together as if it were your last. Cherish every moment. Tomorrow is not promised.
