The animations are really good, if something had Metal Slug was that despite there was a lot of machinery, vehicles moved like their were alive, they did a great job translating this to 3D.

Yeah, they did a good job with Dragon Nosuke, but unfortunately, did not with the rest of machines. 1:06 Just look at R Shobu and NOP sarubia, they look fake, boring and lifeless, also MH6 look like were just floating in air. They spended all time in Dragon Nosuke animation.

You're right @Raliuga999 I never thought about the "like they're alive", but now after all these years I found that, that's what made them so iconic and I did like the job on Dragon Nosuke. One of my favorite bosses

Oh my, the mission 3 looks so beautiful, now the town got trees in the background and you can see well the destruction during the fight. I hope they remake the version from MS X.

I don't like how the bosses looked so small in this beta compared to the OG bosses which are MASSIVE and terrifying which makes the game more awesome.

It's an issue about shading and perspective. Proportion between the player and the boss is the same, but in classic games bosses shades and perspective made them look further, so they seem bigger than sprites truly are.

The best boss so far, fluid movement, more moves and tricks compare to the original version (althought it lacks the fire ball attack, but I think that only suit if you have the Slug Flyer).

I dont think so mate. Enemy and player have health bar with make the game become p2w cause the harder the level, the tougher the enemy. And yet, some death animations are not in this version, like when you melee the enemy, he rip apart, enemy burn when we shoot them with flameshot, etc

@@virtuepiety759 It's obvious a P2W game becasue it have a time limit for each stage too, with the enemy's HP keep increased in scale , you'll be force to buy money gun at some point of the game.

Bruh, how come the laser gun with limited ammo does lower damage than the unlimited flame thrower? Is this the power of gacha?

I think this game is more like grinding, if you watch his other video, the old flame shot, has lower damage, i think he upgraded them, meanwhile the picked up power up in the game, has default damage(non upgraded)

I don't think, either it's the edited sound, or the game has been updated, watch the other old videos of this (like 4 or 5 days ago) it literally has no voice when you pickup weapon and prisoners didn't say "thank you"🤔🤔

No, no, and trice...NO! Why's there an energy bar!? Why, when you hit an enemy with the flamethrower shot are they not dying in a flaming heap? I'll stick to my original Neo Geo AES cart, ta very much (MVS carts for Slug X and Slug 3) Only thing right on here is the tunes and the voice over

Relax, the game is just still on beta test. Probably they will add more sfx and 1 hit mode (or option) for more challenge with much better rewards in return.

Looks great, but what I don't like is that Dragon Nosuke looks smaller, and it lacks the "MORDEN" name on its side (very minor detail but it still would've been nice to have). Tbh I'm more excited for Tactics than this because Tactics has the same art style as the original arcade games, and that Tencent has a very bad reputation for investing in many companies (like Marvelous/XSEED Games), their involvement with China, making copies of popular games and shady business practices
