2017, and 2024 JSU is not the same, hell when I was there 2002-2006 JSU wasn’t extremely big either. JSU has definitely put in the work, and recruited to be Thee Best in Thee SWAC!

I still didn't follow the HBCU circuit at that time, here in Brazil, and I deduce that perhaps it wasn't such a favorable moment for both bands at that time, as nowadays both are at a much better level in all aspects involving work and the result achieved by the great marching bands that make up the HBCU, but I can say that it was one of the worst presentations by Sonic Boom, which in addition to having a smaller number of components, presented a very weak repertoire and with very confusing and very dirty arrangements, TSU was better in this battle, and won with very little difference, as they also made several execution errors in their arrangements, but they were still better than JSU on this day!!!👏👏👏👏👏
