Not many but all of the brave sons of India were Shaktha Worshippers it may be Kali or Durga or Bavani or Bharathi but they worshiped Shakthi. Great Freedom Fighters from Tamil nadu like Pasumpon Tevar saw all women as Parashakthi , Subramania Bharathiyar got the dheeksha from Sister Niveditha and worshipped her as Bharathi (Saraswathi). Veera Kerala Simham Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja worshipped her as Porkali (Kali in Battlefield) ,took his surname as Shree Porkalidasan ( Slave lf Kali) and fought against British and Tippu simultaneously. Chembaka Raman Veluthambi popularly known as Veluthambi Dalawa stabbed himself to death at Mannadi Kali Temple after loosing his battle with British. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj worshipped her as Bavani, Guru Gobind Singh kept his Swords name as "Bagothi " , Netaji worshipped Durga inside Jail , Savarkar worshipped her as Ashtabuja Bavani, Aurobindo wrote "Bavani mandir Manifesto". Swami Vivekananda worshipped her as Bavatharani and told the world, " Upanishads alone are capable to give you Moksha, then "Kali worship " its my lone madness, about which i wont tell world anything". The lack of Shakti worship is the reason for our Mental Slavery.

Thank you for the information! Even intellectual kshatriyas like S Ramanujan worshipped Maa Namagiri. Strength of our forefathers' character came from the blessings of Maa Aadi Shakti, whichever form she's being worshipped. Maa gives the strength, Baba Bholenath gives the necessary balance to control and wield that strength.

It is known in the old revolutionary circles that Chandra Shekhar Azad before he was killed had gone to meet Jawahar Lal Nehru and requested to help the HSRA finacially. Money was not given, Nehru left for Delhi just before Azad was killed and then Azad was killed. There is some suspecian against Nehru of having informed the authorities of Azad's presence in Allahabad. To reinforce this suspecian, after independence all CID / police records of the Azad's informant etc. were destroyed. Who destroyed the records and why destroyed? That is all about Nehru. But Yashpal had a motive to see that Azad is killed. How? Yashpal had committed sexual misconduct against a HSRA female member - whom Yashpal had later married while he was in jail. For this misconduct, Azad and other leaders had ordered to shoot and kill Yashpal. This is based on the statement of PW Kailashpati given before the Delhi Conspiracy Commision. A copy of the Proceedings of D.C. Commission is in possession of the writer of these line (because his late father was connected with HSRA and was tried in court).

What a shameful way to treat your Freedom Fighters who gave away their lives in their late teens and early twenties by smilingly putting their necks in the gallows who were systematically annihilated both during their active lives but also after the achievement of the Sacred Goal they gifted their lives to, some unknown enemies saw to their systematic burial both physically as well as literally! Question automatically arises in common people's mind - did the Brit's really leave the Indian shores in 1947 or were they very much present through their cronies who continued to rule us for a number of decades after the departure of the White Men!
