I'm still thinking of the Fabulous Havoc X2 bike.. It's under or around 90 lbs.. Has a dual 750 motor set up and 60V 20 ah system. They say 100 Nm of torque per motor and it has a dual suspension of sorts.. Also folding.😳

Two 750watt motors are gonna eat up that 20ah battery quicker than expected.

@@RobertHaworth 100% agree. That bike should have either one large (30ah or more) battery or dual standard with the bike. 20ah is not good enough with dual motor bikes.

@@oregonebikermark8953 A 30Ah battery should be a bare minimum for dual motors e-bikes. I have 35Ah with my Grizzly and I am delighted with the distance that I get as I am a hot-rod senior citizen at times. I also have a 15Ah battery for under my seat for my X-52 ....... Just not installed yet.

I honestly don't believe the claim that this bike could possibly do 42 MPH. How much does the rider weigh? 110 pounds? I own a V3 Grizzly with a higher voltage battery and 2 "1,000 watt motors. I believe that this claim is vastly exaggerated IMHO

At least one reviewer who was 6’+ and looked round 190lbs, was able to hit 32mph with the reviewer model of the bike which had the lower front motor specs at the time. With the front motor going up in specs, I believe the same rider may have gotten to 35 maybe 38mph. It’s highly likely a smaller individual weighing around 150 or less could see a speed of 42 in absolutely prime conditions.

If they give it a VIN and turn signals so that it can be registered as a motorcycle, it would be street legal here. As an ebike, it would not be street legal. I wish we’d just get with the times and establish a “light electric motorcycle” category for some of these grey area bikes. Fully legal on roads short of the freeway, tagged and insured. Not a bike path kind of bike, but for private trails, go nuts. That is an excellent price, we’ll see how it pans out.

Am in total agreement with you. Up here in Canada we are still in the land of class 1 ebikes, pedal assistance to 20 mph still. ☹️ We can't even legally get a hold of a class 3 ebike to ride on our roadways, bike paths or trails. Unless my federal government does a 180 and/or allow each individual province/territory to enact their own legislation, we are going to be stuck with "crippled" ebikes for the foreseeable future. 😢

Was looking at the Gazelle ultimate t10 + but was scratching my head wondering why I couldn't find it online from Canadian ebike retailers. They were being advertised on the Gazelle website so I decided to email a retailer in Ontario and got the answer that Gazelle will not offer class 3 pedelecs to Canada....against federal legislation. This was confirmed by a local retailer here in the Vancouver, BC area and if you were able to get a class 3 ebike somehow, the retailers here will not honour their warranty. Also read from another YT forum that Stromer forced a no choice OTA software update back in November 2022 onto the class 3 ebike Stromer owners to reduce their motor assist back down to 20 mph. I can't confirm this as I don't own a Stromer, too rich for my blood 😂. So, for me welcome to the world of government interference as it applies to bikes....so frustrating. Regular roadbikes with a decently fit rider can achieve 30+ mph on flat stretches, unassisted and downhill, anybody can. Government, quit restricting our freedoms!!!

@@pwc1021 Would they even know if you bought it and rode it responsibly? That’s the state of affairs in the US. My primary ride in the US is a 40+ mph EUC. I mostly ride neighborhood streets at 25 mph. I have seen cops, many times, they don’t care.

The 2023 Storm Bee F surron has 22.5 kW peak power, 520 Nm peak torque. I don't think I would be able to hold on to that rocket.
