Bandit Model 65, 65XP - 6" capacity disc chipper

www.banditchippers.com.au - the Bandit Model 65XP is a compact, easy-to-tow 6-inch capacity disc-style chipper. Unlike most machines in the 6" class, the 65XP has a large infeed throat -- at 12" wide x 6" high it is DOUBLE the size of most competitors machines. This allows the Model 65XP to easily process multiple stems as well as large pieces up to 6 inches (150mm) in diameter. In Australia the Model 65XP also comes standard with DUAL horizontal feed rollers. These extra wide feed rollers are positioned right up against the chipper disc so that the 65XP chips forked material with ease. This dual roller system feeds difficult material VASTLY better than single roller units.
The Bandit 65XP is built on a rugged 100 x 50mm RHS steel chassis with an over-sized axle and 14" wheels and tyres. A low machine weight means it can be towed by just about any truck or ute, and the standard electric brakes add to towing safety. A gutsy Hatz 37.7hp DIESEL engine is fitted as standard, as is Bandit's Auto-Feed system which matches the chipper infeed speed to the engine power.

Hi Croctorsaurusrex - We have sold many hundreds of these with absolutely no issues as you describe. Badly blunt knives or knives ground at the wrong angle will make plenty of dust. Also check the condition and adjustment of your anvil. The blunt or wrong angle knives will hammer the wood and not cut it. This will cause your weld cracks. Please rectify this and speak to your local Bandit Dealer so we can get your machine working the way it should. Thank you.
