In actuality---a DAW app is supposed to be super user friendly enough for anyone to jump in and figure things out---and then watch the tutorial later. If you have to watch the tutorial first---it doesn't weigh in the same. I've been going at it this way for decades. You're good. I bet a year later you're kill'n the game!

Making music is a separate skill you have to learn. Doesn’t matter what DAW you use. If you can’t make music, you can’t make music, no matter the DAW.
@TheIHVPNetwork2 ай бұрын
Trust me(and I never say that to people I dont know)----all you have to do is just start playing with it. In the past 6 months I'm sure you've become an expert by now. I'm certain that Pro producers that are experienced in working on DAW's(Digital Audio Workstations) wont be confused---but if you're not familiar---you'll be hella confused. I'm curious as to how far long you've gotten in 6 months or if you just threw in the towel---because I just showed a very non-tech savy 70 year old how to create her first song using her phone.

I've been a longtime Garageband user but have started using Bandlab for recording my rock guitar jams. I love the Songstarter feature! Two questions: is there any way to set the input to default to my interface instead of the iPad microphone? And, is there any way to export the stems to another DAW for a better mixing experience than the Bandlab mixer?
@Sxcottie Жыл бұрын
so for your first question im sure you can set the input in the general settings tab, and for stems you need to get on a computer and go to the song and click on the 3 dots and export stems! hope this helps!!
