Sometimes I really hate band room tempo.
@Jjj-qe9ph6 жыл бұрын
Dayvon Savage me too. Takes some of the energy out of it. Adversely, it also allows you to hear more details of certain joints vs being played at regular tempo. Pros and cons I guess.
@dsavage6366 жыл бұрын
De Indeed it does but I always have looked at it a little differently. I think it gives the kids a sense of playing a tune for the first time during a performance which gives it that “crunk factor” while performing.
@MrTarpon985 жыл бұрын
Dayvon Savage only just for tweaking and fine tuning purposes lol, I used to say the same thing when I was in the band in middle school until I reached high school and was informed

I think Mr Haymer may be going def because if the band followed his directing counts, they would be off beat and timing would be all wrong. He must have headphones on directing other songs

mikedaflexta I pray we don’t because I’m a huge fan but I have to be realistic. Nathan Haymer was a huge lost. I’m sure they will be good tho. Kendrick gotta step up well before time.
@mikedaflexta6 жыл бұрын
Trust me bro SU was a powerhouse before Mr. Haymer, plus there are 2 capable instructors who sat right behind him. Mr. Taylor will not miss a beat and Mr. Simmons is a God arranger so stop stressing bruh. They are going to be alright.
@dsavage6366 жыл бұрын
mikedaflexta O nah I’m aware that it’s the next man up at SU. From Doc to Jackson, now Haymer to Kendrick. They both Greggs products so I know they will be good. Kinda curious at who else will be added to the staff.
