Thank you guys. If someone has 50 local or cross breeds and they bring in a pure buck and all are served with in a period of about 2-3 months, wont it be expensive for them to keep bringing a different buck since inbreeding is not a good thing.

This is lovely, we need to have more of this type of genetics. We also need good sheep genetics. Kenneth Sinza should start thinking of semen harvesting and start selling chilled semen and maybe graduate to frozen semen. this will accelerate the genetics in EA. Am looking for Boar goats and Dorper sheep semen, which will be cheaper for me as a smallholder farmer who cannot afford to import the bucks all the way from SA.
