Ngarrij is like a mischievous god who has come to earth to play and stir up sh*t just for the fun of it. I love him.

I love this documentary. I have it recorded from NITV earlier this year (2019). Ngarritj cracks me up the little ratbag! I love the music in this too. Thanks for posting this and crediting NITV & Mousetrap Films.

This is the funniest most joyful and light hearted video I have ever come across when searching through Aboriginal Australian videos. You guys need to get this out there again and put it in a few modern day feeds to get it back ouit there. Its really is a feel good story and something for everyone to enjoy in this modern day and age. Thanks You Ngarritj you Humbug & outlaw!!

I first met Ngarritj at the lovely Nyinyikay homeland in 2009/10 when I went with NAISDA dance college for our cultural residency. He's my cousin by the way 😍😊

The most grandiose way to go for Uncle...I'm so sorry for your loss, and my love and spirit goes out to all of you in Amhem Land, but his spirit will always remain in the hearts and minds of the community. He definitely was a silly and wonderful icon!! He most definitely will not be forgotten in a hurry ^___^

Simiiformes my sister, Fly Honey the Dancing Corella of KZbin LOVED this doc. She’s the same species but lives a very different life in USA training as a Ballerina for showbiz, which she loves. This was the first time she could see a fellow Corella down under and she was captivated!... dare I say, slightly crushing now. Lol. 😍❤️ Awe. But this entire doc is really touching and what a story to be told. I’m hoping to do a reaction vid of our cockatoo watching this doc so we can introduce it to our viewers who are mostly bird lovers & Corella fans. They are definitely fun little characters that will keep you on your toes but I’ve never seen a Corella learn so much language and to be so self sufficient but still be a pet to a whole community. He’s like the mascot of their village which is very neat. All the kids get to grow up with him. Our girl talks a bit but not this much. She’s very clingy and affectionate as most cockatoos are. This little guy is semi-pet & semi-feral, I’ve heard a few such stories when it comes to corellas being “yard pets” that stay with one family and have free roam. Usually that’s very dangerous for a pet bird due to predators and cars and such but in the case of this village, seems to be the perfect place for him to live with everyone helping to raise him. Like he’s connected their whole community. It’s truly amazing. These corellas are SUPER SMART!!! Ours is more tame and doesn’t bite much and likes to cuddle, but this guy seems like he is working as their village security guard and village thief at the same time. 😂 Lol. Hopefully we get permission to film a reaction vid to this doc so our fans can learn about this really wonderful bird documentary. I think they’d really like it! So look out on our channel for when our vid about this doc comes out!

I think you are right susspek. He came to earth to just have fun and mess with everyone and all the dogs and cats for the hell of it and also give his blessings and greetings in his own way. He won for sure. He has an awesome sense of humor.

This is a wonderful documentary. We would like to share our corella’s reaction vid to this doc & seeing another bird of her same species, and share with fans the incredible story of this documentary. Are you the people who filmed it? How can we get in touch with the people who made this doc or whoever we’d need permission from to use some clips from it (with all credits going to the makers of the documentary, not us). We have a lot of fans who love this species of cockatoo and whom we think would be interested in seeing it so we would of course direct viewers where to go to see the full documentary. Please get in touch with us via twitter DM: @TupeckParrot or our KZbin gmail. Thanks!

Bran Ristic good to know, thank you! So we can have permission then? 😱😜✊🏾 That would be fantastic. We can bring more viewers to this doc. We think it’s THAT GOOD! And we see a lot of documentaries so when one really touches us enough to wanna tell our fans about, we must really like it. Brian did u help in the making?
@BranRistic5 жыл бұрын
Mousetrap Films is who you need to seek permission from, I do not claim , nor do I have any rights to monetize this video, all payments go to rightful owner via KZbin laws ... No I didnt have any hand in making of this doco, and my pet peeve is being referred to as Brian... Its Bran
