There is ample parking at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. Even during the peak of summer, they have never run out of parking space.

What is my best chance to see Moraine Lake and Lake Louise early August? We will be staying at the Two Jack Main Campground, we have a car, but won’t mind using the shuttles/public transport (family of four - two adults and two kids). Tnx

Tickets for the Parks Canada shuttle seats are released 48 hours prior to the departure date. You would need to drive to the Lake Louise Ski Resort to meet the shuttle bus. Otherwise a private shuttle that departs from Banff would include Mountain Park Transport, or Discover Banff Tours to name a few.

@@BanffLakeLouiseTourism thanks for that. I’ve been trying for the past few days to purchase tickets via the Park Canada website with two phones and a laptop, i set an alarm for 7:55 and refresh the screen, but within seconds been told thickets are no longer available. Is there any other way to buy shuttle tickets or (other transport to Lake Louise/Moraine without selling a kidney)…? 😂🙏 many thanks for your input

@@bergmaneyal 8am MDT is when they are released, but often 8:20am you'll see more pop up as people who had them in their cart have cancelled them, thus releasing them back into the system.

I will be travelling with a 1 yr old in September and I really want to see the sunrise at Lake Moraine. I am stay in Banff town. what are the options I have?

You can take a sunrise shuttle from the village of Lake Louise with Moraine Lake Bus Company or Fairview Limousine. If you prefer a departure from Banff, then you can take a tour with Radventures! The tour will also let you see Lake Louise.

Hello there, so that means that there are no shuttles to Lake Moraine outside of those months? In planning to go in April 🙌🏼

Hi, the road to Moraine Lake is closed to all vehicles until early June due to an avalanche path that goes across the road. The road cannot open until the avalanche risk is gone so the road will still be closed in April during your visit.

I’m a bit confused…I will be camping at the Two Jack Main in August (family of four - 2 adults and two kids). What is our best option to get to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise? What’s our best chance to book this? Park Canada shuttles (online) seems impossible to get hold of. What should we do? Tnx

Is there any way to drive to Lake Louise (and then take the shuttle to Moraine)?

The shuttles depart from the Lake Louise Ski Resort. If you drive and park at Lake Louise, you will only be able to visit that lake - even with a shuttle reservation. Paid parking is in effect at Lake Louise so it's more cost effective to book the shuttles and park for free at the Ski Resort and see both lakes in the same day.

My mother in law is disabled and we rented a van to visit Banff. I am trying to look for the parking lot open times at Morraine lake and cant find it. We are planning to go early to avoid the crowd. What is the earliest time we can go to the lake?

Great question! Those with accessible passes are given access during shuttle hours so the earliest time you can enter the road to Moraine Lake is 6:30am. We look forward to welcoming you to Banff National Park.

@@BanffLakeLouiseTourism thanks for the prompt reply. To visit Lake Louie, I guess we still need to tickets for the Lake connector shuttles, correct?

@@vincedenbu Your blue accessible parking pass will also allow you to enter Lake Louise for parking, but please note it is $21 per day to park there. The Parks Canada shuttles are not accessible unfortunately so just ensure to show your accessible park and the parking staff will direct you where to go.
