Licenced drone operators are highered for drone shots that are are scene in movies and television shows. Its mainly for aviation safety. The Drone Laws and their clauses differ by country, so this is just basic reasoning. Edit: The drone's remote radio signals may also be disrupted while flying in the mountains.

The drone issue might have also been regulations surrounding how high you can fly them at whatever given time with or without permission Etc. Up until a certain height you don't need permission ahead of time, but being in the mountains they're already at a certain altitude

I think the Korean aviation rules are quite strict about drones. When Chan got the drone, he did a Vlog to show us. He had to get permission from the aviation authorities to fly it, and because of the weather, and the battery not being fully charged, he could not fly it and had to let them know that he wasn't going to fly it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGepmqSpi9Z9nqM However, in this case, the fact that the higher up you go, the thinner the air is (though I doubt very much they were high up enough for that to be a factor) and the more difficult it is for the drone to push against the air to move up and maneuver. And of course Lee Know being Acrophobic... 😅 In the Live with Seungmin saying Chan is half 52, the way he is looking off camera and laughing, I am dying to know what they were doing behind the camera! 😁

Air pressure differs in high altitudes. Just like 🚁 helicopters, drones need a certain amount of air pressure to be able to allow the propellers to get lift. They work a lot harder in high altitudes with low air pressure & therefore end up not being able to fly as high or as far. A helicopter, it's quite dangerous. For a drone, it's aggravating & a potential loss of equipment. But... Acrophobia is my new favorite silly SKZ reason! 😂❤
