to me bandori's current ui is both charming and a little annoying how everything feels like it was freshly polished and shined. it reminds me of 2010s logos and makes me feel almost nostalgic. the new one feels flat sure but there comes a point with how flashy these features already looks that *something* had to be toned down to keep it from getting overwhelming. regardless, I like both the new and old uis :}

This is all very... overwhelming. Honestly, I don't really know how to feel about it. I tend to not really like all of those other rhythm/gacha games that have all of these extra items and mechanics, because I just find them too much to handle, so... yeah, I'm worried about how this will make me think towards this game, too. Which is sad. Been playing since launch on the WW server, and all of these changes just seem like too much for me.

the cubes for dupes and increase skill using coins thingy has been in D4DJ (which is another bushimo game) and soon you will actually forget or just not care about it . I do agree that this is a lot of mechanics. I pray for absolute new players in the future

Even though all of it looks pretty cool, I'm afraid that putting so much stuff all of sudden can scare some fans away, not only because the game's gonna look different, but the fact that it's gonna be WAYYYY too heavy for certain users (myself included). The game is already 6 gigabytes on my >phone< and I assure you, playing already sucks, random lags, BUGS LITERALLY EVERYWHERE, to a degree that i can't play certain events, like versus because the screen just doesn't load the models and crash. And just to say, I have downloaded the live effects, put in light mode, put low graphics, not download MV's, did everything I can do to make the game less buggy/laggy to play and YET it still crashes pretty often. and it seems they are creating shit out of thin air to make players chase after new 5* cards & SSS rankings and basiclly making it project sekai. nothing against that but PLEASE make the events at least a bit more fun to play and currency less dependent on reading stories instead, making it about skill or even making it a bit easy/less annoying to grind, cuz seriously😭i can't keep going like this. I seriously am excited for this but I don't think I'll be able to enjoy those new things because i have a bad feeling about F2P and phone players like me.

I'm one of the players that this is all kind of scaring away, too, and I've been playing since launch on the WW server. I thought the game worked well the way it already is. Adding all these new items and things is just... overwhelming to me. Not to mention the lag problems. I'm not sure I'll even be able to play properly after this, either. Some things I'm excited for, but everything else just worries me.

@@-Panna- I feel the same way. It’s almost like they’re turning it into a RPG or something lol. Playing the songs and reading event stories is what’s fun about it for me, getting more cards and building up band power is just a bonus. That’s why I burnt out on revue starlight relive cause the gameplay wasn’t very fun and it required hours of farming materials to do well.

Best change is definitely increasing the difficulty level on those 4 songs. All 4 of them are songs I never understood their current ranking since they are not even close to other songs in the same tier.

thing is, i really like bandori homely, casual vibes if that makes sense, compared with project sekai atleast. even though the latter is better with its layout, i like the casualness bandori gave.. but that will change as well. there's been an image of the multilive screen that got leaked or smth. and whilst it looks more aesthetically pleasant (and the colour palette reminds me of proseka).. it just doesn't feel like bandori anymore. and honestly the mv, costumes, and game layout change was bound to happen and be added. and honestly, got going to lie, everything looks so good so far. but it just doesn't feel like bandori anymore.. it feels like proseka v2.

Honestly alot of rythm games beside pjsekai have 3D mvs like enstars idolmaster utanoprince and love live So I thing this isn't as bad as some people assume like enstars had alotta 3D mvs and definitely is popular and it existed before pjsekai so I don't think this update is gonna cause any harm and it is definitely a good thing for the game :)

Project Sekai didn’t create 3DMV’s. They’ve existed long before ProSekai, with the biggest examples being Love Live and Ensemble Stars. Hell, even Argonavis, the male version of Bandori, has them!
