Bang Sue Long Distance Yard and Diesel Locomotive Depot 29th January 2025

After seeing the 0809 from Kaeng Khoi depart Bang Sue Junction wegp to the LD yard, actually right opposite the front entrance to Krung Thep Aphiwat Bang Sue Grand Station. We see GEK shunting, a QSY arrive, we move to Bang Sue Diesel Maintenance Depot. The biggest in Thailand, it has wheel lathe, load bank, jacks, cranes and the major provider of all locomotives in and out of Bangkok
We then go back to Bang Sue Junction, it's an easy walk around the site all on public roads, to view everything, and depart via the subway back to the Metro.
