0:27 i just found it so cute how yedam put details on his songs, like this song is about a boy being a mess drinking lean for or with a girl. i searched about lean since i don't know a lot of drinks or should i say drugs, it's a recreational drug beverage with a mixture of a cough syrup and soft drink (popular in hiphop culture in the us) so that's why there's sprite on the lyrics and it's also called purple drank hence the title of the song. it's also like the girl is kind of addiction to yedam, we can assume he's a good school boy type since he mentioned about failing the test just so he can drink with her that night. we know that yedam is good on speaking english or atleast have that good enunciation but on the chorus, he sounds like a drunkard, like he's mumbling the words. obviously he doesn't like the taste 😆 but he still did that. it's like this song is about young love doing everything for your teen crush, your ideal girl even if it makes you look like a fool. even on himself he's confused if it's really good or bad for him that's she's leading him on. he has a feeling for her but he realized they won't be good together like a bad girl x good boy type of story in wattpad, they just don't match? and on the last part he keeps repeating the chorus until it ends, it's like when you have a hangover and too drunk, some of us doesn't remember what happened and so he was trying to figured it out and regret it at the end. it's not 100% true but i just based it on my analysation so please don't come after me. ✌️ in conclusion yedam is and will be a great songwriter, what can we expect from an ace and top-notcher? and he's literally a musical genius kid, i know for sure once he's allowed to release his own songs it will be a hit and a masterpiece. i'll be waiting till then bang yedam. 🤲

I've been having rappers as biases since 2012 (the vocalist are usually the bias wreckers lol) and as someone who heard him rapping when he was a child (KPOP Star and WIN) I was so sure he's gonna be my bias bcs I was really looking forward on how he'll improve. But then, YG vs JYP on Stray Kids happened and also the YG Treasure Box which then made me have my first vocalist bias. Well when I think about it he's a rapper too (especially at first) so I guess it's still valid when I say my biases are rappers hahahaha. Okay let me clear something up for those idiots who said he should be sued for this. First of all, Yedam was 14-15 years old when he released these songs on soundcloud, yes this MIGHT be inspired by switch lanes by Kim Seungmin, since rearranging songs has always been a way for YG producers to train their trainee producers. So should he be sued for this? no, even if he was inspired by the other song he can't be sued for something he didn't release officially lol use your brains. Second, let's talk about who's being fishy here. technically, Yedam's soundcloud was removed BEFORE YGTB which according to Choi Hyunsuk that THEY RECORDED YGTREASURE BOX IN JUNE 2018 but the switch lanes by Kim Seungmin was released in around July 2018 the plagiarism could have been way around since obviously Yedam removed his sound cloud before JUNE. Since Yedam has been composing songs ever since he was 14-15 and he often uses his songs for monthly evaluation in YG. (Ygtb showed the monthly evaluation happened when YG was picking trainees from his dungeon to compete in the show) The point here is that fans uploaded this without his consent, all of his songs were already removed but fans uploaded them on KZbin. And honestly, I prefer this than the other song. And lastly, I'll talk about how talented Yedam is, rearranging songs that he did for example like "existence" shows how much talent this kid hold. He's indeed got yedam ever since. Now I'm craving for main producer Yedam in the next comeback 🤧
