Because you are one of the few remaining who can still be truly moved by music/Pogo is one artist who knows how to make music moving. Don't worry when I listen to this and watch the video I can't help but sit here with a small grin and moist eyes. It's so amazingly done, the tunes, the video, all of it. He takes something that you grew up loving and thought was perfect, only to make it better. The music standing alone is enough to incite a response, but having made it from samples of stuff we grew up on the nostalgia is immense and brings back every emotion you had watching the movie for the first time. The laughs, the anger, the honest fear that we now feel silly for having had; all of it in one package.

this resonates so powerfully now that we have lost Bob Hoskins and Robin Williams in the same year. I could barely watch Hook last night, and watching this brought tears to my eyes. Robin Williams played a huge role in my family's film collection and joyful memories. I bonded with my dad watching Good Morning Vietnam. My siblings and I loved playing Jumangi and making a mess in our home, only to blame a lion and some wild plants. Flubber made a scientist for all of a day, but it was the best day ever. Mrs. Doubtfire made our family laugh and made my parents divorce a little easier for my siblings, though my brother kept thinking our dad would dress as an older British woman. Robin Williams was too good for us. I hope that his spirit finds the peace he so richly deserves.

Today marks the 8th year Death Anniversary of me #1 favourite actor, Robin Williams. Like I always do every August 11th... I watch the movie "Hook" to remember him 💜💜💜 Hook is me #1 favourite (Childhood) movie from me #1 favourite actor of ALL-TIME... Robin Williams 😍😍😍 I really lovey love love love this movie SOOO much because I feel like I'm in a different world (In the movie) and I am literally with Peter Banning in Neverland with the Lost Boy's helping him to remember that he was once Peter Pan. Furthermore, there is ALOT of parts in the movie "Hook" that always makes me cry (Teary-eyed) because it just brings back memories when I was a wee lassie watching the movie several times and the parts itself is so super duper wuper beautiful, amazing, fantastic, and other positive words! 🥲🥲🥲 So today I wanted to remember Robin Williams... So I watched the "Hook" movie for the MILLIONTH time on Amazon Prime Video because today, August 11th, 2022- Thursday, marks the 8 year Death Anniversary since he died 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Then after I watched the movie, I played the song "Bangarang" by the most awesomest and coolest bloke ever... Nick (A.K.A. Pogo) because this song will FOREVER and EVER remind me of me #1 favourite actor, Robin Williams 😍😍😍 Robin Williams was the one who made me laugh. Robin Williams was the one who made me not give up. Robin Williams was the one who made me confident. Robin Williams was the one who inspired me to become a famous actress and movie director one day. I just wish he was still alive so I can thank him (In real-life personally) for EVERYTHING that he has done to me and to cast him in me 2028 Romantic-Drama Movie. I have autism/aspergers, which makes it hard for me, and me expressing who I am, communicating with others, how I feel, doing things, and etc... I just watch anything with Robin Williams to help me. I have been struggling with this mental illness since I was 3 year's old. The peep's who has been supporting/fighting for me and giving advice to me all of me 13 year's, was me Mum, Da, other family members, and non-physical Robin Williams. Throughout me life, I gotten bullied, excluded, ignored, made fun of, etc. because of me mental illness which peep's told me that I was stupid, weird, ugly, and other negative words (Plus I wasn't creative or intelligent that I will be unsuccessful and I was never going to be a actress/movie director). But when I first watched the movie "Hook" for the very 1st time (When I was a wee lassie)... With Robin Williams it made me better. It made me feel special. It literally changed me life. The movie itself and Robin Williams, it influenced me to be meself by not being shy anymore but being more confident by communicating alot, standing up for meself to bullies, make new mates, making more short films, confident in acting, being helpful, showing who I am (Of how I am creative and intelligent), expressing feelings, and other positive things. So I want to thank you, Robin Williams for inspiring me with yourself and movies, and what you used to do. I cannot describe the words that I am feeling right now because of Robin Williams helping me in the non-physical world. He truly inspired me. This quote "To live... To live would be an awfully big adventure." by Peter Pan (“Hook” movie) that was the part that triggered me and it changed me life. I literally still cannot believe it’s been 8 years since he died. I’m still sad/devastated that he died/no longer on this Earth 💔💔💔 Time flew by fast. I feel like it was yesterday. I remember the day Robin Williams died on 8/11/14- Monday... I was home alone whilst Mum was working and was watching Season 5 or 6 of “Doctor Who” at 12:00pm. I DID NOT know about his death till that evening, which broke me into billion of pieces and I couldn’t stop crying 😭😭😭💔💔💔 I wish he was still alive (Happy/himself)/healthy (Have no health problems or Lewy body disease)/no struggling with anything/and ALOT more things. He didn’t deserve to die… Why does the good ones always have to die? 😭😭😭 He deserved to live to 100+ year’s old/lived an infinite life and see his family grow/become a Grandpa/experience more life-changing moments/other countless infinite things. I wish I could’ve been there for him (Like what-if I was born in a different year and was similar age to him) during his darkest/low points in his life and saved him from committing suicide aswell as more things 🙂 WHEN TIME-TRAVEL EXISTS… I am going back into time to SAVE Robin Williams from him committing suicide and get him help by doctors by stating that he has Lewy body disease. The world is still a much sadder/different/less funnier place without Robin Williams 😭😭😭 I wish he was still alive so he can be surrounded with his family/mates, be loved by everyone, and can star in more movies aswell as other infinite reasons 💔 I miss him every single day that it literally hurts me. He’s always on me mind 24/7 non-stop. I will never be okay 💔 I hope God/Heaven is treating him well 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 But the only thing I can do to remember him by watching videos, movies, etc. and every August 11th... I am going to watch the movie "Hook" until I die and show me future children aswell of how Robin Williams was THE Man who inspired me. Robin Williams is still the Pan even if he is in Heaven. R.I.P. Robin Williams. July 21st, 1951 to August 11th, 2014 🌹🌹🌹

My first Pogo song was "Alice", so many many years ago. Right now I'm listening to this childhood-classic remix as a prep for making my own King of the Hill turned Forgot About Dre creation. Thanks for the inspirations, mate!

This one is for you Robin Williams! Thanks for all the years of comical joy and laughter! I'm probably not gonna be able to listen to this song without it reminding us of Robin Williams. We must cherish the times when he was on Earth and remember how he would make us laugh despite any and all personal turmoils he had. Let us be happy in the knowledge that he is in a better place and that he no longer suffers from his turmoils. He made us laugh on Earth for a long time, now he makes the angels laugh in Heaven. R.I.P. Robin Williams.

This film taught me the most valuable lesson in the world, something that I will keep forever, for the rest of my life No matter if I grow up, no matter how many difficulties, being an adult is not an excuse to let myself be happy and that our inner child still lives.

This is my favorite piece of yours. Each sound feels as if they were destined to fit together perfectly. This melody is so relaxing to me, and every time I hear it, I am filled with so much joy. This piece is so whimsical that when the chorus starts at 0:45, I can't help but sway along with the music, just as in the video the characters do flips and twirl around in feelings of joy. You have truly done Robin a justice by capturing his element of whimsicality and quirkiness. Keep on making art, Pogo.

It really bothers me that masterpieces like this only have 5.5 million views but garbage like WAP has 318 million views. People are just wrong.

the last decade of my life (15-25) has been so hectic. Pogo has been that one thing I can keep going back to and relive those years.
