I was put down in the block of the hospital wing (Parkhurst - Coopers Troopers) back in 1977. I 'had' to 'create' a 'special space' in my head where nothing could get to me - it was that bad. Trouble is - I was so locked into that place - that upon release, I was still 'locked-up' & could not communicate with anyone for years ! Unlike today - 'Bird' was really heavy back in those days !

Hi Ray, couple of things for the record, the ol man actually didnt mind bindon, he thought he was a good laugh..except the time he whacked him round the arse with a sword!!lol..also the scrap yard was in fulham..he got the one in chiswick when he came out the nick!!..x

I was going to say same Steve. Yards wrong way round and dad lived a story Ray. He got shot then carried his mate Elgar baba and did long stretch from 1968. Strange hearing those stories again and living them was so much scarier
