When I was 13 I got put on remand and was sent to Scarborough eventually till I was 17, my crime was opening mail that got sent to my home address but the name was unknown to me. It turned out that it was a blokes wages, I thought I'd get away with it........not a chance lol. I was abused inside but was petrified to even accept it myself let alone tell my parents. I eventually did when I was 55 and they disowned me, not long after my mum, dad and brother passed away, funnily enough I miss my parents so much. Loving your videos and life stories, take care and be good Ray 😊

@user-ti6bj8gs5r Thank You, yes they disowned me, it was the most devastating time of my life but I've got over it. You've been through far worse. And you've come through it with a sexy smile I might add. Your site has given me hope and the belief that change is possible 😊

Ya knocking some good content out and I'm interested in your take on things cos my dad RIP talks about the life after the war 50s/60s going down south for work,staying in the old 'doss houses' and sleeping on his pants under pillow! He said it was rough then and men were men,he got he's nose fish hooked and side ripped on bricky site in East Acton? Or East ham? He was born in 1927 in Sunderland, bevan boy in war and went looking for work and left N,East. He was always fighting with Irish,Welsh, West indians etc, it was a melting pot as you will know more than anyone, but my old man said he remembers hearing about Jack spot,bill hill but not many others (that rung a bell anyway) he hardly said a word about anything dodgy all my life...they were staunch back then. I remember him doing Neighbour in with an hammer for shouting at me & my brother "get off them air ride shelters ya little wogs" only time I seen him break character and afterwards never spoke about it but said get on them shelters and jump roofs as much as ya want...no one told us again! Police didn't even come? Yeah old school were different, humble with there glory!

When I was a trainee screw at stangeways in the 70s I walked across the centre grill and was promptly shouted at for ten minutes in front of the whole jail by the centre PO, no pulling to one side for a quiet word in those days, we were treated as bad as the cons.

Great podcast Ray as per usual, but I can't believe Fraser laid a cable on the centre at Wandsworth. Yes definately walked across the centre, which has been stated in other true crime books but the rest is hearsay I reckon. Whoever told you that is talking a load of pony. All the best 👍

This is the thing for anyone yo think frank would have been given work in the 40s 50s 60s If he wad a mug No chance he was the real deal Forget about Courtney he was a loud mouth Frank would have cut him up in the day
@donalddorman176 ай бұрын
What about Chrissy Lambrianou? He was in many kids & then adult jails 50’s&60’s before he got his big sentence with the Krays. Also Frank Fraser put it about that Courtney was a grass so there goes that nonsense about him and truths!! 🤦🏻♂️ bs radar pinging all over the place here.

Excuse my language Ray, I never normally swear, but it really pisses me off that Bronson or whatever he calls himself these days is still locked up, is he that much of a danger to society at his age? what is going on here? No he upset the system and must pay because he attacked prison officers, maybe if he had been treated better, this would not have happened, he is not a Saint, but he is also not a wild animal tell me your opinion Ray, you ended up being very sensible and are respected, is he any different to you? All best
