I think it needs to be said that Lee Know is also the second/dance leader of SKZ that Chan has entrusted to help lead the kids when Chan isn't around and also helps them all learn the dances. Chan even says Lee Know helps him and acts the same way to him and the kids when he messes up, lol. Chan and Lee Know are essentially the parents of the Kids (which is why they have jokingly say mom or little mom to Lee Know.) Also, Lee Know donates a shit ton to many, many organizations. He's funding kids in Africa, endangered animals, cats, safety pins for everyone/LGBTQ+/depression, etc. The man is a saint.

Agreed because Bang chan himself choose Lee know to be their dance leader of SKZ to share the burden because Lee know has more experiences in dancing and Bang Chan also said that he can be at ease when Lee Know is leading them in their choreography making. It has 10 episodes and really goes through their struggles and hard work to be able to debut together as 9 ( the former member Woojin has now long left Stray Kids) Felix and lee know were eliminated but were brought back at the end. this show was a roller coaster of emotions. I just blows my mind that JYP originally cut Felix and Lee Know from the group, and Hyunjin was also on the line several times. I highly recommend any Stay watch the episodes (the Eng Translation version was shared on KZbin and the survival show was just called 'Stray Kids" ). The remaining SKZ members seemed so deflated and leaving them out would have been such a terrible mistake. Fans were not happy and JYP brought them back. I loved seeing how they created their songs and their early perfomances as trainees during the show. For your Changbin Bias, Never Ending Story was written solely by Changbin. It is a vocal ballad though written for a Kdrama, but you can appreciate that Changbin can also write other genres (with rap of course. It’s still a Stray Kids song)

Why Felix Cried: They had to go through a survival show where they had to prove their talent to the company in oder to be placed in a group to debut. Felix and Lee know was deemed not ready to debut by the director in the middle of the show and had to leave the show and the group. The elimination of them was very emotional; we would love you to watch the whole thing to be frank, and you'll see how talented, hard-working, family-like these boys are. Yes, Felix and Lee know were eventually put back in the group in the last EP and so Stray Kids was born!

Stray Kids did a reality show pre debut. It was called Stray Kids. Basically JYP put them through a serious of tests to see if each member was ready to debut and if they could debut as a whole group. First Lee Know was eliminated. Then Felix was eliminated. The reason for Felix's elimination honestly pisses me off. It was because he was still learning Korean and he struggled quite a bit so they eliminated him for not being fluent enough in the language which isn't ok. Because he can learn. And he fucking did! But they brought them back at the end and they all debuted together. So that scene with Chan and Felix was 100% real. He said "always find me, I'm not going to leave you behind" to Felix. I watched it for the first time a few months ago (knowing Felix is obviously in the group now) and I still cried like a damn baby. Seeing him so heartbroken is something I never want to see again!

Tortoise and Hare--YES! Loved your first reaction to that. So if your tier/analysis video is 4 hours, break it up into "part 1" "Part 2" etc as needed. Lots of precedent. Re: Chan+Felix in tears--I just re-watched their pre-debut survival show. All episodes are now on youtube with eng subs. It is amazing to watch them making songs, making and learning choreo, rehearsing and performing at a time when Lee Know and Felix had both been training for less than a year. They often have a countdown up in the corner of the screen, like "6 days to YG Battle" to let you know how quickly they had to do all this stuff. Most viewers find themselves in tears at some point, especially the elimination and reunion episodes. I've heard opinions that the eliminations were "fake", just to create drama, but if so, it is really clear that none of the members were told--their emotion is real, and very hard to watch. Since most such shows do have several eliminations and such eliminations are usually final, I personally believe there was a real chance that Felix and Lee Know might not have been allowed to debut with Skz. I do agree with someone who commented that it was partly that JYP felt as if he had to mess with the line-up to have some say. To me that would be normal behavior for someone who has spent decades putting together groups and soloists in a very cut-throat environment. He has a lot of experience with what works, but Skz is one of those groups that succeeds by breaking the norms. This is always very uncomfortable for those whose job it is to try to predict and foster success. To his credit, in the last episode JYP did bow to the fact that the synergy of Skz is what makes them special. In the last episode you can see him struggling to justify his decision to keep the whole group together. He really was not sure this was the right decision, apparently there was very strong advice from others in the company in favor of the eliminations. Although JYP is the face of the company, he is not the only decision maker, and there might have been others with the power to override him. In that case, giving the audience a vote at the end was brilliant, as it gave him good justification to bring back the two members. I'd also remind folks that this is one of the few survival shows where those eliminated were ever given a real chance to return. Did anyone watch the Monsta X survival/formation show? It's way worse and based on what I've read I have no desire to watch the Twice formation show.. At the end of the day JYP didn't stick his heels in and say "I'm the boss, I'm the expert, if you want to debut, you'll put up with my decisions". He had the insight and courage to make a decision that went against all his hard-earned experience and instincts, and I really do give him credit for that. Both Chris and Felix have expressed gratitude to him for that more than once.

LOL The first part with Bang Chan is the reality elimination show called Stray Kids where they had to prove they had what it takes to debut as a stray kids. Any of the members could be eliminated. In fact Lee know was eliminated for forgetting his lines while performing, in a very early episode i think 3 or 4 and then Felix was later I think in ep 8 or 9 because of his lack of the Korean language. Lee know was the first and a shock to all of them more than upset but when Felix was eliminated all the tears were flowing from every member. Not saying or comparing I just think they didn't expect it and the feeling of shock was more prominent than when Felix was eliminated. Because of this I think this created a bond between Felix and Lee Know because they went through something similar and why Lee Know being the older brother he loves to protect Felix. I don't think Bang Chan would let it stand not to have either one especially his Aussie bro.. So as you can see they were both brought back for a 2nd chance to prove them self's and all 9 of them made it. I really think JYP wanted to create more drama on the series and why he had them eliminated. More drama meant more people were talking about them. The Seungmin in the building was for sure a big thing n their first world tour. Now his brothers all say it to joke with him. In one interview recently member announced their name and that they were in the building. It is a running joke. LOL Love to see you react to the songs in this vide. Wow was writing by dance racaha and they only have fan videos from their concert showing them dancing and singing the song from their first tour. Never Ending Story is a live performance and the song is an OST. The live performance is one of my favorite songs where they showcase their vocals mostly but you do have some rap. not much but it is still good. Again and Again live performance of a cover song by 2pm (Which is an older JYP male group) . The performance was part of the reality elimination show performance. The first rap song during Bang Chans was Zone by 3Racha. One of their first rap songs. I think there is a video out there in skz player or skz record.

Ok the Felix crying scene was from the reality show and he had been eliminated. This was their genuine reaction. It hurt even more because bang chan had chosen the members himself as stray kids was an experiment for JYP. It would be the first ever self made group where they had both total control of the music and production. And since bang chan had been a trainee for 7 years at that point they let him choose his possible members with the final group being decided via reality show. Thankfully JYP brought back Felix (and lee know who was also eliminated) and they continued as a 9 person group. Though a year after debut the 9th member, Woojin, left and is now a solo artist. The group now prefers to be known as an 8 person group both to focus on their present and to be respectful to their previous members decision.
