The Bruins are going to force me to add more to my coffee than cream if this level of play continues

One thing to remember is the teams below them have played three to four less games. So I wouldn’t get excited about them being 500

Terrible effort yesterday afternoon. Turnovers, defensive liabilities all over the blue line.

Maybe the team needs some of that Fazenda coffee (by the gallon?)

The Bruins are a work in progress. The one thing that keeps me positive is that the majority of the players have not played their best. If they were playing their best at a .500 winning percentage then I would be worried. However, I think once things gel, they'll be alright. Imo, we are undermining the players they lost such as Ullmark, DeBrusk, Grzelcyk, Forbort and the rest. More than their talent, they were good moral boosters.

I don't know. Weren't the incoming players supposed to be an upgrade? Zadarov, Lindholm, Kastelic were supposed to boost the team not make it worse.

It's hard to walk that thin line of working for the company (NESN), and having your own podcast. Don't wanna bite the hand that feeds you. Love your choice of words Billy, "Their entry is difficult. I know you wanted to say "it sucks", but I get it - tow the line. Hard position to be in. Keep up the great podcast gents.

put swayman on waivers

I truly believe that the way management handled negotiations with Swayman had an effect on the team morale. Management traded Ullmark before signing Sway under the assumption that Sway would do what Bergie and Krej did and what Marchand has done, take whatever they offer just to be able to play in Boston. When Swayman used the leverage they gave him and asked for what he thinks he is worth they stopped negotiating with him. They stalled the talks and dragged it out past camp to "punish" him, they smeared him in the media insinuating he was being greedy and money hungry and selling out the team, and they made it obvious that they have no respect for the players. All the players saw management do that and now they know that management doesn't value them and will trade them in a second if they ask for what they are worth. And now it has been enough games where they haven't been able to gel so their confidence is now shot as well. I put this all on management, they chose him as the "guy" and then refused to negotiate in good faith and tried to lowball him by smearing him in the media. That caused big problems for the whole team.

Has this team given ANY indication they have the ability/desire to play better? They look like they don't even care.
