yeah its not when your job it to literally aim for cars and hit them you sign waivers etc its an amazingly fun thing to do... we had a farmer not using one field bought 50 buck beaters and smashed them around and rebuilt them lol its actually how banger racing and derbies started. people racing in their backyards banging the cars around

if the vehicle flips the red comes out they check the drivers and get all other dead car drivers to exit their vehicles so they don't get hurt..... its really safe actually. oh and you will get hit with debris parts dirt smoke your face will be black after you won't be able to use your visor so your eyes hurt after too you'll see some of the newer ones squinting after from the particles in their eyes. when you see a car hit the wall notice how the flag man runs over to ask the drivers if their ok...if their not the flag comes out... but these Brits really know how to derby compared to Americans. oh and after about 2 bigger hits these vehicles are usually rebuilds so they become impossible to steer that's why you see a lot of people ramming the rear end they cant slow down or turn so they gotta hit.

There's a few okay ones here on youtube, but you probably won't find any really good prep vids, at least not from the top boys, they won't want to share their trade secrets on how to build a good banger. Most drivers I suspect, if not all of them, will try to bend the rules as much as they can get away with in order to have the fastest and/or hardest banger possible.

H frames door and floor plates keep the drivers compartment safe.National bangers have a very good saftey record.I can only remember one in 16years and that was because he got out the car and got hit by another car.You stay inside the car.Dont get out until the race is finished.
