Great demonstration I have seen a few videos on this type of pick and you have gone into a lot more depth many thanks

Very nice tools. Very simple in design, the most simple I have seen. I have use very expensive professional ones with a price tag to match. But this tool most importantly works. Thank you for your time to present this information and as always very entertaining.

I got his set. Both picks broke first use. I wasn't even using heavy tension. A cut down pipe key works way better for me. If I can silver solder the tips back on properly I'd love to use these as the design is sound. The construction of mine was rubbish.

Worth a go! Trying to master the art of lever lock picking with limited success so far, mainly due to the variability I encounter with the various lever locks I have purchased as challenges. The 3 lever lock in your video seemed to yield very quickly so not a bad pickset.
@LockNoob7 жыл бұрын
Judge Mental a lever lock with a 2:1 pick king that fits and no false gates is quite easy. The most important thing is matching the pick to the lock as I found only a couple in my collection that we're compatible

You could cut off three side (not the lever side) of the outer tube; half the way up the tube. It would make it a lot weaker, but you could get it in smaller keyways.
@LockNoob7 жыл бұрын
Jeromy Tuttle very risky as the end is tubular metal and I personally think it wouldn't be strong enough if you cut any of it away. If you can afford to take the risk it might be worth it?

Might modify one of the picks so that the inside upstand can throw the bolt and thin the outside one to raise the levers, in case you're trying to get out instead of in and the bolt is on the close side of the lock (for example if one found oneself locked in a tomb). Fine video!

Great review! This tool was originally designed for picking the lever locks seen on safes :D Thanks for sharing again :D
@LockNoob7 жыл бұрын
Boaz L yes, it is, but which safe? The thing is, lever locks are lever locks and if the pick is able to tension the bolt and lift the levers full height then it doesn't matter what it's original design is for :-)

Oh I'm not sure exactly which brand haah but in general, the type of safe locks with double sided bits :D Mainly found on more commercial safes and some safety deposit boxes in China.
