This thing has been very well received amongst the bluetooth speaker enthusiast crowd. The reviewers I trust almost universally said it was tuned better than the motion boom plus. Maybe not doing better than the original motion. Boom, but the plus had some unsettling peak in the treble. The downside, at least for some is how heavy it is, and a little more clunky and less seamless than using the soundcore products with the app. Those more seamlessly work in stereo. But still, it's hard to deny that this thing really became the de facto recommendation for the $200 price point. I still think a pair of motion booms is the way to go though so you can have the wider stereo sounds and the benefits of two speakers. Not the plus variant, just the original proper motion booms.

You’re the only reviewers that mentioned the speaker can be tilted at an angle. I bought two of them as Xmas gifs and didn’t know that.

This is indeed encouraging my friends. I have the *Tribit **_XSound Go,_* which is of course *_much_* smaller (about the size of a hot dog w/a bun). Unfortunately, I have not been that happy with it. I suppose it's fine for in the bathroom when I'm taking a shower and getting ready to go out. But to have it by your side with no other noise, the poor sound quality starts to stand out. I find that just having my phone play the music has been the better choice. As always, excellent job! thanks for the review guys! Be well! 🙋🏼‍♂️

I love mine, my only complaint is that not being able to activate your assistant voice to control your phone with it. I have the Tribit stormbox micro 2 and being able to get calls, notifications, etc., from my phone.
