Benjakittie Park can be reached by BTS at the Asok Station and MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Station.

The name "Bangkok" spelled by early Dutch and they pronounced "Barng-Gork" correctly since Ayutthaya period but now people are misled by flat American accent Bank-Kok.

Bang = Urban , Town , City Kok = Hog plum , Wild Mango *Bangkok : We use only english language it's easy to pronounce.

Jeroen, this brought back awesome memories for us (love the drone footage you took, too!) We almost stayed at the Centre Point in Asok that you rode by in the beginning but ended up at the Centre Point in Chidlom, not too far away (closer to Lumpini Park). But we walked down the Green Mile to that entrance to Benchakitti!

A place to avoid the smog? Bangkok's worst selling point is the air quality.

It is not bad all the times . At least during June-November , the air quality is so fine with the level of pollution being green color almost everyday like Northern Europe or Japan. Bangkok is way nicer than some other major ASEAN capital cities in term of air qualtiy.
