Chau is my teacher in the ADD academy (ADD mean "art du deplacement" wich can be translated into "art of motion") and explained me the story, David was inspired by his father who was a firefighter and that started finding better ways to move in the street and occasionaly in burning buildings, so david wanted to be a firefighter as well, so he stopped school at 15 and moved to paris to enter a national services school (i dont know how you say it in america)

Chau connected him with is friend and then together they formed the yamakasi team, david was part of it so at the start they were 8 (sebastien joined a bit after) but kickly they realised that david wanted to make money out of it and the other members wanted too spreed parkour in the world, thats why he left, and they were glad he did (if you search ADD workshop on google, you'll probably see pictures of chau and the others, trying to open school and training people from other country)

oh its probably about the David belle fact, but dude i can explain it, I know him AND I know his cousin Chau belle, because of the ADD academy wich is the school that the yamakasi team founded before breaking as well as gravity style (but only charles and malik worked on the gravity group, they also developed a clothing brand and helped realising the Xtrem gravity compest) even on wikipedia, its written that David is the CO-founder of parkour, he didnt do anything alone
