if you don't know the reason why people are still wearing the mask, you could ask or just shut up. a lot of idiots are smoking outside almost everywhere, plus the smell of food, car's smoke. you could be more polite rather than randomly say that the country has no hope. we surely have lots of hope, if there isn't people like you here.
