Bangkok to Koh Phangan (for Full Moon Party) via Surat Thani: Costs included. Thailand Series Pt.1

Travelling to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party from Bangkok via Surat Thani. One of the cheapest ways avoiding expensive Koh Samui flights. We landed in Bangkok and got another local flight to Surat Thani which was very cheap. After that, although we booked online, but you can book Bus + Ferry tickets at Surat Thani Airport. We travelled through Lomprayah Ferries; tickets included Bus ride from the airport to Donsak Pier, Ferry ride from there to Koh Phangan; island of the Full Moon Party. We stayed right at Haad Rin Beach where the party happens; Phangan Mantra Resort.
Although the journey takes a few hours, but such a scenic route takes your heart away!

I m planning to book a flight from bangkok to surathani which will b arriving at 8.30 am.. And the bus for the pier departs from the airport @9.30. Is it enough time to reach or should i take a late ferry. ?

Hi brother im landing at surthani airport at 15.45pm, i see that there are few options to go to Koh Phangan. i think the last bus is at 16pm by one travels and other at 16.30pm. do thing will i be able to make it? thanks in advanse

It's a small airport. You will easily make it. Doesn't take much time to get off the plane and grab ur luggage. You can get the 1630 bus.
