I have seen people call these buses as sleeper bus. But unfortunately, I don't think that there is a proper sleeper bus on this route. The bus that I took had good enough reclining seats. No problem in getting a sleep. Yes, a good addition for the price. If you travel with the basic one's, I believe the ticket costs like 670 baht, with no buffet, and also the seats recline less.

Lucky you, the trip looked very well comfortable and well sorted out. Unlike my trip via Amtrak bus here in the states for 8 hours overnight it was terrible. Crowded, hardly any leg room and super bumpy, no sleep whatsoever.😭

That’s right Bruce. The interstate highways are surprisingly smooth over here. Never felt a bump throughout the highway ride. Next time I did 16 hours bus ride, will upload that video later 555

Yes Michael, there were toilets. I am sorry that I couldn’t show them as I was asleep during most of the journey.

The road is smooth. Near Krabi it can have some turns, but not sharp turns. The bus is air conditioned. Sleeping during the ride can be helpful.
