Aksel, you OWN this song! The burlap of the adolescent voice has been replaced by velvet. I felt tension in the entire piece - the singer who will approach the quietest of pianos and the most dramatic of fortissimos with the mastery you've displayed here. Thank you for the joy.

Aksel's lovely and rich voice, his musical sensitivity & artistry and impeccable line is simply outstanding. It's so exciting hearing him as a young baritone. Could we perhaps be listening to the next Fischer Dieskau? I think so! 🤗

The transformation from boy to man is incredible yet not lost anything. He should be able to sustain that for many many years.

Exactly. One of biggest frustrations about talented boy singers is they’d voice changes aged 13. After that, anything can happen. In this case, it has quickly turned into a classy baritone.

His boy’s voice will still be there, as falsetto. Thankfully he is embracing life as a baritone and not trying to be a countertenor !!!! He’s 19 here.

I think Aksel should stay away from using his falsetto vocal folds until his baritone voice has fully settled.

I'm so glad KZbin recommended this video. I discovered Aksel through KZbin when he was 13, an I still enthusiastically watch his back catalog, as well as having both the CDs he produced while still a treble singer. It's breathtaking to witness his baritone voice developing and expanding. So much resonance and beauty in his voice, as well as a keen understanding of the 'emotion' of what he is singing. I see you have a couple more videos featuring young Aksel. I look forward to watching them!

He learned cultuvation just as a child. He sings bariton, the normal way fora once soprano, but he has tenoral sound in his voice. Show him the wax to passagio. Let him not end as an"Lied an den Abendstern" Bariton. 😊

Why does Bangkok Voice Coach find it necessary to talk over Aksel's beautiful singing? He ruins everything.

You need to get your ears checked. I only spoke between his phrases. My goal is to give an analysis of his singing without stopping the song. If you want, you can watch the original. “He ruins everything” is a very childish remark.
