Great visuals but crappy narrative of "dangerous climate change is Bangladesh's biggest problem". The sea water level is rising very little, but Islam stimulating more births is the real worry.

When I saw the rivers in different countries in Europe, I was like 'You call this river?! Come to Bangladesh and see for yourself what real rivers are like!' This hauntingly beautiful cinematography brings out the beauty of our people's lives feeding off our mighty rivers. We talk about sustainable development, adaptable living, resilience etc. and yet the mostly-uneducated people in my small country have learned to live with water and climate change with their instinct, being the victim of a phenomenon they are not responsible for. And yet our people waste time on finding who supports religion or not...or other trivialities, when the very existence of most Bangladeshis is at stake right now because of the sea level rise.

This was hauntingly beautiful, thank you, thank you for making this! I am an expat Bangladeshi living in the USA, and I have rarely been this moved by any movie or documentary- forcing me to doubt if my existential race of achieving a first world lifestyle while everyone back home is barely hanging onto their lives is worth it at all or not. Thank you sir for making this amazing cinematic piece!

Even being a second generation representative of the people living in the "chars" or' the islands who had all of their properties, good life and even my grand parents' graves eaten up by the river Brahmaputra ( Jamuna as we call it), I never realized what we were actually going through before seeing this outstanding piece of documentary. May be because my family rose from the hell; may be because I am a privileged one aiming higher for a better life- but I still have relatives whose life depends on that 4 degree change in temperature or in that 4 cm rainfall. We can take measures, build hundreds and thousands of shelters and do anything we can to face the consequences. But by no means we can mitigate what this temperature/ climate change will be doing to such a large population. Only way remaining is to be aware- GLOBALLY. and perfect time for that will be NOW! Thanks director and crew. Thanks for representing the saddest truth in such a beautiful way.

As ever with Yann, provoking: thought. Ana. M, I didn't really know, I very much still don't. However, she tells it like it is, that is a perk only few allow themselves. Very well done to all involved, you're relighting the inspirational candle within.

As always, we ignore the upcoming danger. Like all the Bangladeshi commenting about a good documentary. Hey Bangladeshi guys. Look there is immense danger coming. You took the fun but did you realized this beautiful land will submerge under the water. It's there and it's coming. Did you heard that he said it's very likely to happen that 70% land will go under water by 2050. Have some sense, Bangladeshis.

The absence of cogitation leads to overpopulation or overtechnology. We need to control both. We need to cogitate. We're all innocent of existing, all innocent of our stupid actions, but we can learn from it and do something about it. We should all be guests on our beautiful planet, not slaves to rulers and capitalism.
