Indian media should present the truth about this movement in Bangladesh. Indian media is not saying that Sheikh Hasina was a dictator.
@TamBramThankyouMam14 күн бұрын
Think it is clear in India now that Hasina was not a popular leader and that the students had a lot of genuine issues. From India, people were looking at only the economic statistics. It is also clear in India that the student movement was hijacked in service of a coup that is unlikely to improve the situation in Bangladesh. One genuine loss in the last few weeks is the goodwill that Bangladeshis had among regular Indian people.

Bangladesh has chosen its own path. We have similar feelings toward both Sheikh Hasina and Mujib, as many perceive them as authoritarian. However, people are still afraid of Hasina and the Awami League, which is why they don't speak out against Mujib. Mujib is not our founder or the so-called "Father of the Nation." This narrative was propagated by the Awami League and Indian influence. We live in a modern society, and the events of 1971 were a collective struggle by the people against 24 years of oppression from Pakistan. Mujib was the main leader, but it wasn't solely his dream. The idea that it was his alone is ridiculous to us.
@nnx111113 күн бұрын
Holy hell. It did not even click for me that they were trying to feed us it was Mujib's dream alone. Now that I think about it you might be right. Why should these students be asked to speak in Hindi? Why would Smiita not speak Bengali? We are not part of India. It is a shame why we entertain such journalists?

It's important to send the message across the Hindi belt and break the Godi media narrative. So it's okay if they spoke in Hindi.

@@aurangzebalamgir8578 It's not okay. 😂 It's a common sense when you visit another country you need to learn that language to communicate with the locals.
