I love that epic, uninterrupted, panoramic view of the 2 and 4 series canopies. I even went so far as to find a flight school that used DA40 planes. The difference in view between the C172 and the DA40 is quite dramatic .... and much better :D

ADC Number is Air Defence Clearence Number FIC Number is Flight Information Center Number ADC & FIC are pre arranged to be linked to your Squawk. When the military is tracking you they associate your Squawk to the ADC and the civil Air Traffic Services associate it with FIC number. Same when handing you over to the next Flight Information Region. Your ADC & FIC are with both the FICs'.
