I gave my G1 in March and I also submitted my extract. They told me that I could give G December this year. Right now I have G2 but when I try to book for the G test, everything is empty. They direct to September 2024. iI can not book for the G test. What can I do now?

Call Service Ontario to clear the confusion. If you have more then 2 years of driving experience in total, you should be able to book G test.

1. Submit duly fill in prescribed form. 2. Submit one copy of the recent passport-size photograph. 3. The original Driver's License issued by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Copy of the valid Bangladeshi passport. 4. Proof of valid status in Canada. 5. If the applicant desires to receive the service by mail, then a pre-paid express post envelope e.g., Canada post/DHL/FedEx etc. having a detailed address of the recipient must be submitted to the High Commission.

Thanks for the nice information. I have non-professional (two wheel + light vehicle) since 2017. Though my license is non-professional, so after getting G/G2, will I be eligible for professional driving in Canada.

By professional if you meant truck or heavy vehicle then that’s another category license but if you meant cars, then yes. You will be able to drive cars with G2/G license.

I'm going to Canada for September session. Now, will taking regular driving license would be enough or should i opt for the international one. International one is more expensive and I don't plan to drive in first 2-3 years in Toronto. So should I invest in an international license?

Regular license is just fine. You can drive for first 60 days with your Bangladeshi license or international license. After that you will need to get Ontario drivers license. Having international won’t do any good for you.

You can drive first three months with BD license. After that you need to get Newfoundland license.

IDP won’t help you. Apnar jodi visa hoye jai tahole BRTA te geye emergency smart card er jonno apply korum. Just ekta application korte hoy. 5 days er moddhe smart card deye dei. Otherwise apni BRTA theke experience certificate collect korte paren.
