during this video Taehyung (V) was down (it's noticable in the beginning) his friend (a renowned model) had just commit suicide. he wasn't mad about wearing the dress, he's goofy so he'd probably be okay with it, but he was mourning his friend.

In the beginning they were deciding who wold wear the snow white costume. There are several channels that upload their videos with English subtitles. This song was a HUGE hit in South Korea. Also, bts are global ambassadors for puma.

Its more of a social commentary about the economic situation of young people in Korea today (and relatable to young people around the world too). They are basically stating that young people are living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to get good jobs, and one of the few things young people are doing in Korea even though they don't have a lot of money, is spend it on cheap things. Kind of like, "well I'm broke anyway, but buying these cheap things is bringing me some sort of small happiness and Im never gonna be able to actually save money, so why not spend it on things to make me happy here and now". Basically YOLO. They aren't necessarily promoting that way of thinking, more like just stating that that is the current situation for many people.

V KINGS, if you watch more dance practices besides watching the official videos, you should watch them from a channel called Bangtan Subs. It's probably the best Korean to English subs channel. Since dance practices are usually Bangtan Bombs, there sometimes a lot of talking before they actually start.

If you look at their actual lyrics to the song in a lyric video or whatever, the song seems so upbeat. But there’s deeper meaning-every single BTS song has a deep meaning. That’s why the lyrics are so important. In this one, it’s basically about spending all your money & just caring about parties. They’re trying to send the message that that’s all teenagers seem to care about these days. Like, there’s more to life than just temporary & materialistic things. But aside from that, nice video as always! (BTW, whenever you see BTS doing Rock Paper Scissors, that’s cause they’re about to do some type of challenge & that’s how they usually solve everything 😂 Like in this one, the loser had to be Snow White. In another dance practice, Suga lost so he had to feel. And also, BTS is representing Puma cause they’re the global ambassadors 😂) Please react to Squishy Min Yoongi - BTS introductions! Just so u know channels in bts dont hav accurate translations or none at all (except mvs but sometimes too) There are fans that translate their vids. U should look 4 eng sub! I recommend Bangtan Translations they r really good. Theyve been with BTS 4 a long time too. Note: if you watch the introduction videos just because they hug and are very touchy with each other otherwise known in south korea as 'skinship' shouldn't make you assume that they're gay. Guys and girls being close like that isn't seen as gay over there. It also just has to do with their culture and the fact that they are SUPER CLOSE. They've been together for over 7 years now and feel comfortable around each other. This would also include other groups too. Like I said just the Korean culture. It's actually quite ironic too with America being so open about the LGBT community yet we still have this image about guys and how masculine they should be in order to seem straight. And with korea being a little judgy about the LGBT community yet what they do seems questionable to foreigners. Like with the guys wearing makeup. I mean they themselves don't ask for it its just the industry. They have to wear it. It's also just apart of the performances and what concept they're doing. You get used to it.

BTS r extremely funny. They don't mind dressing up in dresses or funny costumes. Check out their other Halloween dance practices. Also they are extremely touchy. That's normal in their culture. So don't be surprised when they get all touchy and slap each other's asses (they do that alot) they have been living together now for about 7/8 years so they are very close and comfortable with each other.
