Anpanman is a superhero. He’s considered the weakest superhero in the world because he gives a part of himself to others in order to help them. BTS compare themselves to Anpanman instead of comparing themselves to a strong superhero, because they also didn’t come from a strong background, they built their way to the top. By doing this, they’re also saying you don’t have to be strong to be a hero, you can be like Anpanman or even like firefighters (RM outfit) and other jobs such as this. You don’t have to be strong in order to help people. Even an action such as helping or feeding those around you can make you a hero.

All he can do to help the world and people who are suffering is try to give them a little food, but every time he hands out bread, he gets weaker. Still, he continues to help people. BTS compare themselves to Anpanman because they didn't have any kind of power, they just did their best within their means and continued even when things were getting worse. They are also promoting people to just be kind and do what you can to help and make the world just a tiny bit better. Heroes don't have to be crazy amazing, heroes can be as simple as the person that feeds a hungry person.

This is the wiki description of anpanman for you: The main character of the anime, whose head is a bun made by Uncle Jam. His name comes from his being a man whose head is made of bread (Japanese: pan) that is filled with red bean paste (Japanese: anko) called an anpan. When translated into English, Anpanman literally means "Bean Bun Man." He doesn't need to eat or drink to sustain himself and has never been seen eating, as it is believed the bean jam in his head allows him to sustain himself in this manner. His weaknesses are water and anything else that makes his head dirty. In order to prevent his head from getting wet when underwater or wet weather, he wears a bubble-like helmet to protect it. He regains his health and strength when Uncle Jam bakes him a new head and replaces the old head. Anpanman's damaged head, with his eyes turning into X's, flies off his shoulders once a new baked head replaces it. Anpanman was born when a shooting star landed in Uncle Jam's oven while he was baking an anpan. Anpanman has two special attacks; An-punch and An-kick (with stronger variations of both). When Anpanman comes across a starving creature or person, he lets them eat a part of his head. This can also make him weaker and causes him to replace his head to regain his strength. He also has super hearing, which allows him to respond to anyone who calls his name out in distress, anywhere in the world.

Anpanman is a hero from a Japanese comic/anime who's head is made of anpan (I think it's a type of bread or roll?). He gives people energy by literally breaking off a piece of his head and feeding it to them. That's why he's the "weakest superhero" cause he gets hurt helping others. LOL!!! The color coding for this song is all over the place! The color coded lyrics are really off! Not just because of autotune used at times but because many times when there is a part sung in a deeper voice people tend to forget that JIMIN not only can hit those high notes but he also has a deeper raspy voice he can sing with as well. So many times they just leave that part that he sings blank not knowing who it is. Also when waiting for you anpanman is sung it is not just V singing it. It just is assumed he is because he normally is the one who sings with a deeper voice.

I also put the names in order from oldest to youngest. 💜 Jin (Kim Seokjin) Singer Suga (Min Yoongi, AKA Agust D) Rapper J-hope (Jung Hoseok) Rapper RM (Kim Namjoon, previously known as Rap Monster) Rapper, Leader Jimin (Park Jimin) Singer V (Kim Taehyung) Singer Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook) Singer 💜 RM is the only one who can fluently speak English and he learned by watching the show Friends. He did an official remix of Champion by Fall Out Boy and you should totally check it out, that one is entirely in English. 💜 And here's some other songs I think y'all should react to... Lie (Jimin solo song) Singularity (V solo song) Begin (Jungkook solo song) Mic Drop ft. Desiigner [Steve Aoki Remix] (Also an almost entirely English song, but all the members are in it, not just RM. The original is mainly in Korean.) Baeppsae (Silver Spoon is the English title, it's personally probably my favorite BTS song ever. Also the name is a metaphor(? I think that's the right term) for a try hard, but it's directly translated as crow-tit and it's a term used in other songs and I figured it might've been a little confusing to see, but basically Baepsae is an underdog/try-hard something along those lines. The whole song is about how the older generation ruined everything for us then complains about us not working hard enough even though it was them who made it so hard for us.) 💜 Also I think the reason Ddaeng blew up so much was because its the newest release by BTS and you reviewed it in like the same day that it came out.
