Try this recipe easy to make. My own version of BANGUS WITH BLACK BEANS known as fried fish tausi.It is a fried fish simmered in a tangy black bean sauce, This is a must try, Pair it with steamed rice and you have a meal the whole family is forsure to love ❤
Ingredients
1 pc milkfish, cleaned and cut into serving pieces
2 pcs tomatoes, diced
1/4cup canned black beans (washed)
1 medium-sized onion, sliced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 Tbsp liquid seasoning
Flour
Canola oil
Salt & seasining to taste
1cup water (you can add more water if you want more sauce)
Onion leaves optional
Procedure
1.Season fish with salt. Let sit for 15 minutes then dredge in flour.
2.Fry in canola oil until golden brown. Set aside.
3.In a pan heat oil saute garlic,onion and tomatoes stir
4.Add black beans saute
5.Add water and liquid seasoning. Mix well.
6.Season with sal, ginger powder and seasoning to taste,to suit your taste. Simmer for 3 minutes.
7.Add fish. Cover with sauce and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Add green onions/optional Remove from heat. Ready to Serve.
