What kind of ritual is that?. . . i found those to be the most adorable thing XD
@hereitsyou4 жыл бұрын
its called furitsuke (furi for short)! its basically choreographed moves specific to headbanging and arm movements and folding over, etc. its just something apart of visual kei culture, and shows the band that you're appreciating them and having a good time at the live.

@@aurora-rx4kc it's called furitsuke. Like choreography to the songs. Every band has that. In japanese lives it's disrespectful to the band if you don't do furitsuke like the rest of the audience

hi there can anyone tell me what is happening here? i hear filth in the beauty, great, are they just listening and dancing to it? i really dont know what is going on and i apologize if this comes across as sarcastic or ignorant, i assure you it is not ^_^

I guess this is a kind of choreography what they do during the song at lives. I suppose most of the songs have its own choreography. (Correct me if I'm wrong. :D)

In Japan, fans at lives do something called "furitsuke," which is like "choreography" that creates a visually appealing site for the band and to show them that they are enjoying the show. Due to visual kei's composition, there tends to be certain gestures used for rhythms. Such has "head bang," "kobushi," "oritatami," etc. If a fan stands there and does nothing, it tends to appear rude or as if they're not enjoying the show. It's actually quite fun, because you get to participate in the show with the fans and the band.

okok i get it, thanks for explaining that for me, that makes sense and is very considerate of the band to provide areas for this to be done and its very sweet of our vk fans to be so enthusiastic (who wouldn't be right? lol) thanks again ^_^

No problem! I hope you can enjoy live shows in Japan one day! If you're still curious, there are even bands that make complicated furitsuke. You can look up bands like LEZARD "lezard 振り付け" where they upload videos for their fans to practice before attending their lives lol.

Yes, that's always funny to see when you watch japanese lives, but personally when i saw them in Paris i moved like how i felt, like the others as an occidental concert, i think that's frustrating to "obey" to a choregraphy when the music is so rousing, intense, choregraphy doesn't express what you feel in the moment, i'm curious about what is their feelings doing so. I like when others make it but i can't do it myself (that's a question, if i go to Japan to see them, will i do it ?)

tastein hibi yeah I'm worried about that too xD I bet I would be the only one who's jumping and screaming, or saying things like "Reita I love you!!!" just when a song finishes or like here in Latin America, where you could hear a "Ruki hazme un hijo" which is basically a different(aka creative) way to ask someone to have sex with you xDD
@candyyumeko6 жыл бұрын
Darkrain Takarai it's rude to japanese people if you just scream stuff like that. They are raised like that to fit in the crowd (that's why everyone there is doing the same choreography). But they (and esp. GazettE) knows that foreigners are rude, so they don't care anymore

Neonblut well then you should learn about their mentality. They are raised like that to fit in and it's not good behaviour to act like a crazy idiot.
